0.O what a psycho for a female character lol. This was by far the craziest unhinged stephen king I think i've read. I thought pet semetary was a wild one but this one was legit craziness. King's characters are by far the best and how builds that suspense is so insanely good. Solid 5+ stars for this one.

The trauma and the events and the unfolding of just about everything that happened within this book had my blood boiling the entire time. The character amir I hated him from start to finish and feeling like self righteous individual just made me hate him more. I really don't know why people recommend books like this, this is on my level of disgust with a little life. I would never recommend this or a little life to anyone. Yeah I'll say it it's trauma porn and unnecessarily doesn't need to be written. I'm going to go throw up now from what I just read.

I've never read anything like this and honestly going completely blind was the best experience for this one. I can't wait to dive into the remainder of this book set. The technology was really cool and loved how I felt immersed in this post-apocalyptic world learning more about Fever. Definitely a great start to my journey of Steampunk

Okay at first I was like what the heck am i listening to with this Lula Dean character but as this book progressed I kept listening and just kept thinking to myself this is funny and amazing and just overall the first fiction book of a real topic that I actually enjoyed. Normally I avoid books that hit on hard hitting topics but this was well done. I do believe there was too many characters but I loved that each character hit on something different otherwise I would say it was repetitive but it truly wasn't. I loved the range of the age on the characters too. There definitely were parts of the book where I wanted to scream with Lula Dean's character but it portrayed such an amazing representation of what actually exists and has lead to where we are in the US today. will be featuring this book and further thoughts on my podcast of Chapter One and Beyond this month :).
