Quick classic off my list. Brutal conditions and loved the dogs but definitely worth reading. Narrator of audiobook was a struggle to listen to due to the monotone voice but other than that liked this one.

this was such a good book im excited for book 2! Really dark in some parts but was really something i couldnt put down and reminded partly of grims fairy tales, part chronicles of narnia but more adult and more gothic dark fantasy ☺️

Its heartbreaking that when someone doesn't look like everyone else they are basically tortured by @$$hole people....August is an incredible character/kid and I was furious with some of the bullies in this book. What a great book but the author did a great job with painting these bullies and how to preserve through situations like august and his friends had to go through. Loved the audiobook.

i loved the art work but the story just wasnt for me. Solidly not continuing this series. It was a quick graphic novel to read. I have found that i need to read more greek mythology first before diving into these different adaptations of it. Just my own thing
