Loved the beginning, then the middle through end I thought had plenty of exciting moments and high points but the premise of that section I did not enjoy.
I really enjoyed it. It has flaws, coming from The Martian, the dialogue and character interactions can feel cheesy, but by the end I think they turned to charming. I liked the world building and plot a lot!
I enjoyed this a lot but it felt clear that I was reading a funny book that was an inspiration to a lot of other media I have enjoyed, leading to few of the jokes feeling original. Which is a shame because this is likely where a lot of those jokes originated.
