A story that never tells you more than you need to know. Keeps you asking questions and nothing totally silly. Pretty good.

Really not sure about this. It doesn't seem to have agreed as well as it could have. I read it because it's a classic and I needed to know the original story.

People are complex, needy and yet flexible. Some of them are nice too. This is a story of two of them.

Excellent style on top of an important topic.

Brutal, as you'd expect. But very good with it.

Another very British comfort zone whodunnit.

A very pleasant and very British read. Smack in the middle of my comfort zone.

If you work from home now, this is worth a read. A few good ideas on how to cope, a few suggestions on what to change and a welcome discussion on the topic.

I'll forgive Mr Asimov for the weird space travel science because this was written so long ago, but right now, it just doesn't make any sense. That to one side, it's an interesting idea.

Mixed feelings about this one. Really can't decide how I feel about it.

I knew people like this, but they were all British (obvs) and I can imagine that had I been born in the US, they would have been exactly like this chap. Very interesting and just the right amount of weirdness.

A jolly afternoon monologue from Mr Fry. The comfy armchair in front of the fire of autobiographies. Exactly what you'd expect of him. Is that what you were looking for?

The Sweeny does Glasgow.

A classic that I've tried to read several times. Finally made it though. Interesting glimpse into old London life.

A little bit American for my taste (who knew), but if you like that, then it's very well done.
