
This was a page turner, and I mostly enjoyed it. The ending, though, was a little irritating. One of my least favorite tropes is “it was all in their head”. Also, the way it was finally revealed was quite confusing. I liked the first 80% of the book.

This book required perseverance. The first 2/3 was confusing to me and had multiple typos. The After parts of the book left me asking why and “what is even happening?” It started getting interesting when you truly discovered the “twist” and those moments when he talks to Michael. What a strange book…
