Maybe this was amazing in its time, but I found it really bizarre. I don't quite understand why it's on the must-reads list.

3.75 Good but a little slow and too much romance for my taste.

Beautifully written, dark, and disturbing. I think I'd have to read it several times to fully grasp all the author is saying.

Very slow start, but then then Charlotte really grows as a character and overcomes some intense challenges.
A great middle-grade read.

Wow! Beautiful, funny and tragic. Powerful and a must read.

I laughed and laughed. This time I listened to the audiobook. The narrator (Lacie Glennox) did an excellent job adding inflection and tone to the author's book.

I'll be sharing this book with other mothers.

I wanted to like this book but it was a bit of a letdown. I really enjoyed the world-building but the characters were not very likable and I struggled to connect with them.

Beautifully written the audiobook is done very well. The plot is a little thin with unnecessary drama from the typical misunderstanding tropes.

Wow, this was such an atmospheric read. The writing is so descriptive I can imagine all the characters and the castle clearly.
The Character and the setting is just... weird. These people are all eccentric and somehow facinating.

Overall it reminds me of a Tim Burton Movie.

These are very powerful poems which take some time and focus to really absorb. I had to really take my time as they are so moving.

I learned so much for this book. I had a very jaded perspective of Columbus but now I see that there are two sides of the story. He was a human who made terrible mistakes but also amazing contributions like many of us today

An Imaginative and delightful story. I enjoyed the characters and their development. The plot was interesting and gripping. The romance was sappy

I struggled to connect with Eleanor in the first few chapters, but I realized that's the point. She CAN'T connect with people. This book made me laugh and cry. I was horrified and inspired by it.

I won't say this is an easy read... it's really hard but I'm glad I read it.

I do not understand why this book is so special it was a slog and it hard to endure the terrible characters. They were well written but I just couldn't stand them.

Wow this was such a thought provoking book. It really helps understand our behavior and mental health concerns.

I enjoyed this book it was uplifting, but I didn't find anything that rocked my world or changed things for me very much. It is well researched and interesting.

Loved this! It started out very similar to Ender's Game but it goes on to become its own story. the characters are easy to connect with the plot is exciting and there's even a dash of comedy.

A very soft and upbeat read

This was such a powerful book. I don't think I realized the significance of the events or their effect.

Not my favorite by Andy Weir, but it's still a fun story with great characters. There are a lot of F-bombs
