A terrifying retelling of Fairytales. Morbid yet creative. I would would have had nightmares if these were the tales I'd been told as a child.

A very fun and sill adventure with lovable characters.

This is such a heart warming book. The characters are so well fleshed out.

Warning: a lot of cursing

This book is just weird and creepy, but I couldn't put it down.

Interesting that the characters are endearing but there these random “f-bombs”. They seemed out of place.

A short and dark thriller. Very clean considering it's a thriller.

I enjoyed the first 2 books in this series but this book was a disappointment. The behavior of the characters got disgusting. I'm not a fan of the way the author portrays women.

A fun retelling and beautifully illustrated

I enjoyed this in that it was a nice distraction, but I'm starting to feel like Agatha Cristie's stories are very much a formula.

Wow, this is a tear-jerker. I found this book so very moving. The author does an amazing job of showing the POV of the family members who endure this tragedy. I'm glad I read this... but I didn't enjoy it.

A very creative and interesting story. I enjoyed the first book in the duology better.

There's a lot I forgot from previous book but I don't mind. It gives me a chance to reread the series

A very fun reimagining of sherlock Holmes' setting featuring his niece and Bram Stoker's sister who form a mystery solving duo.

I so loved this book. I love the plot the world building and the characters. I teared up a few times in this book. I think it is an excellent political fantasy.

Short and sweet but so clever and well written.

I really enjoyed this one.
It's a heartwarming found family story with delightful characters.

Not my favorite book of the year. Very dark. Ridiculous romance and misunderstanding tropes. It does have interesting world building in and magic systems

Glad I finally read this very old story. It was probably very amazing in its time.

I almost DNF'd this one. I liked the characters and I think the premise seems interesting but it just wasn't carried out all that well. I sort of had to push myself to finish it.

An interesting dystopian middle grade book. It does bring up some disturbing ideas that may be a little difficult for young readers.

This book has excellent and humorous dialog. It was easy to become connected with the characters and they have excellent development. There is a lot of tragedy and does have a lot of disturbing imagery.

A very slow moving book but beautifully written. A great sketch of Fanny's life.

I really enjoyed the first 2/3 of this book but the romance and convenient resolution of some issues was a let down
