I absolutely loved the first book from the The School for Good and Evil series. Once you start reading, it's hard to stop. The author did an amazing job transporting you to the fictional world and being able to make you feel as if you were one of the main characters. You felt the struggles, the emotional tolls, and other emotions as well . (I was truly hooked...I couldn't stop reading until I was finished the book)
I truly love one of the main characters in the story called Agatha. Even though she is misunderstood, through out the story you get to see Agatha's true personality shine. Which reminds me of the saying, don't judge a book by it's cover.
Although, I found it really interesting seeing the friendship between two opposite best friends. One being obsessed with dresses, skincare, makeup, PRINCE. Meanwhile the other, uses her smarts, doesn't really care about all the girly things girls like and just wants to be with her mother and her hairless cat named Reaper, while also just wanting to live a normal life without the interference of the storybook. Yet both girls, without realizing at the beginning they actually care a lot about each other's safety and happiness and are like to two peas in a pod.

I absolutely love this book. This book is pretty cozy, and it doesn't really involve adventure and high stakes. If you are here for something comfortable like a cafe shop that could magically transport you back in time then this book is for you. But you have to remember that there are a few rules you need to follow OR ELSE something can happen to you.
Each character you meet, you will learn more about them when the story progress. Some character backstories will make you weep a bit but every character is so memorable and lovable.
I just really love how the author wrote Before the Coffee Gets Cold. It's truly a wonderful book and I highly recommend this book to everyone.
This is a cozy and sweet book that mentions a young witch named Kiki and her right of passage. Once she turns thirteen, she will begin her training to become a good witch with her trusty companion. Going to a place her mom warned her about, trying to adapt to a new place with new potential friends, sharing what she knows best and just never giving up when there's a challenge.
I really love Kiki's Delivery Service and I wished there were more books. I'm really curious about what will happen next to Kiki while also being proud of Kiki and how she problem-solves. I absolutely love how Kiki and Jiji (her wise black cat companion) as well as the other characters who played a big part in Kiki's life.
Reading Kiki's Delivery Service made me really excited to also watch Studio Ghibli's take on Kiki's Delivery Service. I highly recommend this book.
Just letting you know: I won't go into detail with my summary since I don't want to spoil it for new readers curious about this book. I've actually been postponing reading this book for a while now since I was worried It wasn't going to live up to my expectations. The rating I would give this book: 5/5
