When Hearts Remember by Victoria Lum was sentimental and deeply moving. It gives The Vow vibes but even more romantically and fatefully entagled. This book is cry-in-public beautiful.
I was entranced by the depth of Ethan's love for Lexy. His gut-wrenching pain and longing were palpable as it lept of the pages. He was so forlorn. My heart quivered for him throughout the entire book.
Lexy's journey to self-discovery or re-discovery was intense and emotional. She truly struggled with the emptiness of losing her memories. Her rediscovery was powerful and beautiful as she uncovered the depth of Ethan's love for her and of their love for each other.
I loved reading along and experiencing their journal journey along with them. Their banter and riddles were adorable. Their lovestory was written in the stars.

Doctor Heartless by J. Saman was lovely. Dr. Landon Fritz blamed himself for his wife's death and never moved on until meeting Ellery "Elle" Wilde at a bar. This was meant to be a one night stand. But it was clear to Landon that she was different. He was drawn to her. But he forced himself to leave and keep his frozen heart in place.
Imagine his surprise and terror when he sees Elle talking to his teenage daughter, Stella, outside of their home. Turns out, Elle is their new neighbor. Now, with forced proximity and Stella's instant bond to her, Landon is magnetized and can't escape her. With a few Fritz clan cameos, they all work on softening Landon and helping him see that Elle is different for him.
The ending felt like it came on fast. I only wish it was a little slower to enjoy the revelation of love more.
Connor Crais and Stella Hunter were excellent narrators. It was a smooth and easy listen.

Want to know why Riven Kozlov brutally beat up a referee in Pucking Obsessed? Here is your chance to get his POV in this delightful dark novella, Burn It Down by London Snow.
Riven Kozlov is an over-the-top obsessed MMC. The target of his obsession? Lakynn Kozlov, his adopted sister. Riven and Lakynn are attached to each other, and while they don't fully cross a line growing up due to being told it's wrong, they can't deny their attraction and connection.
Their adopted parents are controlling manipulators who put their adopted children through unspeakable things. Until false promises lead Riven to snap. He proves he will do anything to have Lakynn.
If you like dark gray possessive MMCs, you will love Burn It Down. He calls her "mine" no less than 21 times! 🥵 Personally, I wanted a little more suffering during the revenge scene, but that's just me.

From heartbreaking loss, mental health struggles, stress, familial obligations, to rekindling love, relationships, and happily ever afters, Change of Hart by Bailey Hannah was everything I hoped it would be and more. I enjoyed the Austin & Cecily and Red & Cassidy cameos.
Denver "Denny" Wells, the youngest Wells brother, was a reckless playboy who spent his days working the ranch, drinking, and casually seeing women. Denny was closed off to love because 14 years ago, he gave his heart away and never got it back. Blair "Bear" Hart never got over their breakup and had done everything in her power to avoid Wells Canyon for those 14 years. Until her mom's dementia diagnosis brought her back to town. The minute Denny laid eyes on Blair, he was determined to do whatever was necessary to make her his again. Starting with showing up.
I loved Denny and Blair so much. Their love was epic and destined. Their journey back to each other was emotional. I laughed, cried, and hoped. And in the end, I was happy.

Love Fast by Louise Bay was really cute. I really liked Rosey and Byron. I enjoyed their connection as well as their individual journey to happiness. Byron was searching for validation from his hometown. Rosey was searching for independence. Neither were looking for it, but they found love in each other. I only wish the ending had more depth from a romantic couple standpoint. I loved Rosey's growth and how she overcame her toxic mother.
The audiobook was beautifully narrated by Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor. I absolutely loved it.

Doctor Mistake by J. Saman was great! As a nurse, I truly appreciated the medical accuracy and attention to detail. As a nightshifter, I loved Carter's take on post-nightshift schedule flipping. That's exactly how I do it.
Grace and Carter were adorable. I loved how easily and seamlessly they fit together despite Grace's resistance. Carter is another Fritz Charming. With each book, I love the Fritz family more and more.
J. Saman's ability to give us fresh characters and relationships is impressive. Before each book, I think there is no way she can make me fall in love more than the last book, and somehow she does.
The audiobook, narrated by Tim Paige and Mackenzie Cartwright, was wonderful. Their performance grasped my attention as they flawlessly portrayed all the emotions.

Bourbon & Lies by Victoria Wilder was a well-written romantic suspense. It was infused with the right amount of intrigue and spice. I loved all of the characters, from Laney, the FMC and Grant Foxx, the MMC to the entire Foxx family and the quirky townspeople.
Laney & Grant were drawn to each other from first sight. Although Grant did his best to fight it. He turned out to be an adorable golden retriever with a deliciously dirty mouth. Laney was bold and not afraid to tell Grant exactly what she thought. I loved the development of their relationship and the story. I also loved that there wasn't unnecessary relationship drama.
Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor were incredible. Their narration of the audiobook was captivating and enticing. The character's emotions were palpable. Their chemistry was off the charts. I devoured the audiobook. I can't wait for the next book of the series.

Vicious Hearts is a wonderful continuation of the Dark Hearts Series by Jagger Cole. I really enjoy the Kildare and Drakos families, and I hope Hades is the MMC of Book 3.
Cillian Kildare is the vicious head of his Irish Mafia family. He is mercilessly brutal, and some may call him a psychopath due to his lack of morality and seemingly unaffected actions. That is until meeting Una. Una O' Conor is sent to seduce and assassinate Cillian for killing her monster of a father. But in doing so, she may discover the heart lurking beneath his vicious reputation.
Their connection is melded by their dark and traumatic past. While their physical relationship is heated by their mutually dark romantic preferences, forced proximity deepens their connection as they share more of themselves.
The audiobook, narrated by Ryan West and Sophie Daniels, was enjoyable. Their performance met my expectations and had me immersed in the story.

I'm not crying, you are. 🥹
Black Knight by Rina Kent was incredibly emotional. Zander and Kimberly's passion was consuming. From childhood best friends helping each other cope, to sudden hatred with an unknown cause, to palpable longing and heartbreak. The emotional trauma they experienced was heartbreaking. This book was raw and real and the emotions consumed me.
The audiobook, narrated by Shane East and Keira Stevens was perfection. They nailed the emotional intensity and passion. I was captivated.
The Edge of Chaos was everything. I deeply felt Brecken's heartbreak and longing for Rina. I loved their story and the growth of their connection. I loved the Fritz brothers and can't wait for their books.
Blake Lockheart and Samantha Brentmoor did a great job narrating the audiobook.

Doctor Scandalous by J. Saman was excellent. I loved Oliver and Amelia, both as individuals and together. They are both beautiful, loving souls guarded by shattered hearts. I loved watching them bring life, love, and joy back to one another. Layla is a wonderful sister who is strong, smart, and sassy. Layla and Amelia are adorable and balance each other well. Oh my dear sweet Mrs. Octavia Fritz, how I love thee. Smh Dr. Fritz. *wags finger at him admonishingly*
The audiobook narrated by Blake Lockheart and Avery Reid was wonderful. They portrayed the characters and emotions in such a captivating and believable way. I was immersed in the story and feeling all the emotions.

Your Pucking Mom by Vee Taylor was great! I absolutely loved Auburn and Ledger. Ledger is an absolute head-over-heels, cinnamon roll for Auburn. Auburn learns to overcome her tragic past and live for herself.
Auburn was a young single mom to Austin, a NHL rookie who couldn't stay out of trouble and need mommy to rescue him. She grew up with a narcissistic mother who constantly belittled her. Auburn put her life on hold for Austin. Until she unknowingly met Ledger, the captain of Austin’s new team. Ledger was transfixed at first sight.
To avoid problems for Austin, they agreed to keep their relationship a casual secret. But when does that ever work out?
