Awesome book from cover to finish.
It is almost worth it to suffer through the first book.
The only complaint I would have is that the 2 Yirella endings contradict each other and ends on a semi-cliffhanger.
I hope Mr. Hamilton picks up that thread some day.

This was everything I wanted the first book to be. Awesome, can't wait for Book 3.

Horrible execution of a good idea.

This is a weird one. I did not dislike the book itself but I dislike the message the author tries to impart on the reader. Like, 'we should hit our children more so they do not turn criminal' and the anti democratic message as a whole. Dude is cringe AF but the story itself, for what it was, was not bad.

If you are looking for MilSciFi with a capital MIL, this is for you. If you are looking for a little story that goes with your pew pew laz0rguns, this is not for you.
