This is a nice little mysterious adventure story that could be a great episode of Star Trek, The Orville or Stargate. Probably not something you gonna reread, since its strength is the mystery and trying to piece together wtf is going on. If you are going to read this, do yourself a favour and don't read anything about it, take and afternoon or two and enjoy a mystery.

There was a very long stretch in the middle of the book were everyone was just treading water that took the fun out of it.
Otherwise good but not as great as malice.

This is confusing and random. Half the time I have no idea whats going on, who is speaking to whom, what it is about or why I am even reading this instead of a better book.

This book tries so hard to be so clever but fails miserably. We get pages upon pages on pseudo philosophical rambling, like the author is explaining the most basic concepts to a toddler. On top of that we can witness the MC having irrational relationship fights for no reason other than drama. Yiekes.
