This book tugged at my heartstrings. I still remember the day I found out Tim died. It was the first time I cried over a celebrities death. I played his music that whole evening, and to this day his music has a dear space in my heart.
“Tim Bergling's death shocked the music world. His musical courage, the playful way in which he brought together different styles and elements, was praised in the press. At the same time, millions of fans testified to the importance of his music in their lives. Tim's melodies and lyrics, characterised by light and hopefulness, were a strengthening force when life was tough.”
This biography tells the story of a young Swedish boy from being unknown, to being famous. His struggles with addiction. How hard it is for mental health to be in that world, and mental health in general.
Ending this review with saying it's okay to get help, it's okay not to be okay. Keep your eyes open on your surroundings, if you might suspect someone might be going through tough times.
Thank you Måns Mosesson for bringing his struggles to the light and thank you Tim, for your fantastic music. Rest in peace.

2019 rating: 5 stars
I really enjoy reading this short series, even if the books were only between 50-60 pages (maybe a bit more).

At least he didn't force himself upon her

The only good thing of this book is the fact the they've found out they've been drugged yet they fall to their backs and submit like a dog, yikes.

4.5, would've given 5 if it wasn't so expensive for around 50-70 pages of story. (not sure if it's the authors take on it or if it's only apple store being a d**k)
On another note - I loved how the romance between Scott and Abby grew.
2024 rating: 2.5 stars
Bland and boring

Shame that it's so short.. Would've loved if all four books was made into a whole book instead. Amazing book nonetheless.
2024 rating; 3 stars
Decent book and introduction to the resort, but nothing worth writing home about.

After having my frontal lobe completely grown, I don't understand why my teenage self loved this teenage-angst book

Okay, this book was as good as I remembered - which also made me notice that my English has gotten significantly better since the first time reading this lmao.
Now to the book itself - it pains me to do it, but back in 2016 my teenage brain thought it was so good (could also be because I watched the movie first and Nicholas Hoult had me in a choke-hold) that it deserved 5 stars, but now years later after a reread it might be a 4.5 star. Marion can be very descriptive in some of his scenes, but his writing is spectacular. Unfortunately it gives me mild LOTR flashbacks and for a book that's advertised as YA (pretty sure it's not YA), it should not be that deep (in my opinion). But despite that little fact the characters are likeable.
