All right, the book itself was not bad. It was decent, maybe a solid 3-star rating. But I suppose the “abused past” trope is not really my thing.

Bland like unseasoned pasta.. and the main protagonist is so annoying. She thinks she's above everyone because of mommy-issues.

I was so close to DNFing this book, but ended up skipping the parts that made me feel like DNFing.
Romance was meh, characters were a bit bland.

The book has a decent enough premise, but it's pretty dull...

A retelling of the original ‘Beauty and the Beast' -story.
This time the beast doesn't have fur, but scales.. and spits fire.
Enjoyable read, not that impressed.

Domnall reminded me of Outlander. Except with more fantasy elements.
So if you have read and enjoyed Outlander (or watched the series), then give this a go!
Hazel Hunter did a brilliant job with giving her characters some interesting backgrounds, as well as giving a, for now, decent antagonist.

I enjoyed the 2nd book much more than the first

3.5 stars.
I can't figure out if I really enjoyed the book or not...
It was interesting enough, but at the same time it dragged out..

Not really my thing

If you're into light humour and romanced mixed in, then go for it!
My first book by Mia Pride and probably not the last. A sweet, fun book about learning to trust and love. And then it's a historical romance - just up my alley!

It's obvious that the book was written in 6-months time. It's only during the last few chapters that I didn't have to semi-force myself through the book.
As much as I love this series, it was a bit disappointing coming to this after the first book.

Why must fate be so cruel

Jeg blev positiv overrasket over at komme tilbage i Pini's fantasy verden.
Eleverfolket hiver dig med i spænding fra side et til den sidste side. Tegningerne er pæne, handlingen hænger sammen og man kan lide karaktererne.

From the very moment I started reading the book I had to force myself through every page and it didn't really... Spark any interest to keep reading

I really tried... but in the end I forced myself through.
I suppose this romance sub-genre isn't for me

Two words:
Holy shit

All right.. I did enjoy these two books. But holy buckets Cole is one annoying son of a hutt, so clingy..
And on top of that I felt it was a bit cliché.. The whole: “No she's mine!!”.. sigh.. Oh well..
And I'm definitely a Team Constantine

Pretty sure you could fry an egg on this book - it's sizzling hot!

The writing made me want to skip the whole thing and forget this book exist. DNF @ 17%

We Stan a kick-ass heroine!

Why do good books always end somewhere in the middle

Just what I needed to get out of my reading slump.
Super cute romance about the new girl in town, except this new girl got her secrets.

I need my own Louis

Changed rating from 4 to 3.5 stars after a few days of thinking back on the book.
A rare case where I actually enjoyed the movie more than the book.. A shame how Luce is portrayed as a first-degree stalker in the book and much more less in the movie which I enjoyed.

I had been recommended this book by many of my Star Wars friends. They really hyped the book up, so I bought it, read it and really enjoyed it.
Once I picked up the book I couldn't put it down until I had read another chapter.. then another and so on.
