This was my introduction to Ali Hazelwood and I have to say, I will be devouring anything she writes. I am a fan of dark romance but this was on the lighter end. I sat down and read this book in 1 sitting and do not regret it. Would highly recommend for someone looking to get out of a book slump, wanting to pause a multi book series and read a light-ish book (there are TWs), or someone who likes to see science terms in their romance.

The amount of anger I felt at that being the ending was unreal. Can't wait for the next book to come out, hopefully sooner rather than later. 4 stars simply on the FMCs need to assure herself she was free and a different person. I get it though.

This is the first tiktok recommendation I liked and finished, let alone finishing in 1 go.

I didn't mind this book. It had a good story line and the FMC was written well. Usually typos make me declare the book DNF but this one kept me intrigued enough not to give up. I will be reading the second one when it comes out in July. I will say some parts of the book reminded me of another book series that has a huge fan base but maybe that's not necessarily a bad thing.

There were points in this book where I got Wednesday Addams vibes but with smut. I was not disappointed.

Ok, so I saw this recommendation on TikTok and didn't have high hopes. I was proven wrong like no one else's business. This wasa good book that I finished in 24 hours. Can't wait for book 2!
