This was a well-written, sexy, steamy, forbidden romance. I loved meeting Tyler Statler as a college student after his introduction in Dibs. I loved watching Tyler and Hayden fall in love, and was on the edge of my seat waiting for the inevitable, when someone would expose their relationship. My only criticism was Tyler's decision to give up his dream job to stay home with Hayden. I understand not wanting to be away from his boyfriend, but six months wouldn't have been that huge a sacrifice, and would have been a huge addition to his resume...not to mention the opportunity of a lifetime!

This was such an incredible ending to Brooke and Easton's story. Brooke's continuing health troubles cause quite a bit of strain, but Easton is the perfect rock and is by her side the entire time. There is a fair amount of comic relief sprinkled throughout, which I appreciated given the seriousness of Brooke's situation. Once again, I had to keep the tissues nearby while reading. Even as intense as this entire series is, I know it won't be long and I'll need to pay another visit to my old friends.
This was one of those books that pulled me under its spell and WOULD NOT let me go. I don't want to dig too deeply into the story, because anything I say will be a spoiler, but I loved the story telling technique of flipping between Mia's memories and her reality, and found myself questioning her sanity right along with her. I can't count the number of times I wanted to lash out at her family for their reaction (but, who could blame them, right??), especially at her mother's constant attempts to push her toward her fiance Gray. This book left a lasting impression, and definitely earned its place on the “read again” shelf.
