Cupid is a Liar

I’m still reeling from this book. You know when you find a read that’s so fast-paced and short that you practically inhale it in one sitting? That was this for me. I’m usually picky, but every single page of this was just... chef’s kiss. It didn't waste any time getting to the point, and honestly, I think I’ve officially converted to being a "short book" person. The writing was so smooth that I felt like I was flying through the chapters.

The dynamic between Hannah and Damian is just everything. He’s got that dark, brooding stalker quality that normally feels heavy, but he’s actually so respectful in his own twisted way. The way he flips from being ready to "burn down churches" and save her life with an EpiPen to being an absolute dork about a cat? I can't.

Speaking of the cat—I literally lost it at the end. I was laughing for a good three minutes straight when the truth about the "cat-napping" came out. The idea of this intense, protective man sneakily co-parenting Mr. Wiggles behind her back because the cat was "lonely" is the funniest, most wholesome plot twist ever. It’s that perfect mix of "I will literally kill for you" and "I’m obsessed with your cat's happiness."

Side note: Damian actually reminds me so much of my husband, which probably explains why I loved him so much.
