I vaguely remember it’s good but I will relisten to it someday when I can pay more attention. I added a lot of bookmarks on hoopla so its totally has new tricks or ways to think about ADHD and how to handle it better for myself. I’m putting this rating as a placeholder maybe it can raise up by 0.5 on a star scale but I doubt its going to be a 5/5 stars like everybody else reviewed it on Hoopla/ as I’m very picky with my 5 stars now.

I do appreciate the authors note in the end for trying to make this as a readable light novel by combining multiple manga chapters so that it would read as a good first intro to this world building and this series. Unfortunately for me it seemed better to have visuals of the reactions and everything so it was more like a middle school novel and would be better watched as an anime or read as a manga.

so personally, I found the audiobook was very unhelpful about telling me how many books in compilation this had I immediately noticed halfway through the book. So I began looking for Patricia Briggs own website for short stories and their names it there, but doesn’t really go into detail which ones which and how many pages and everything so I went on Kindle and then cross referenced it to defined that there were so many details anthropology the first one this book that was mentioned in I’m like no I’m going to treat it as separate ones. That way it’ll be easier. I will probably delete it later since I am a librarian. This is just my easier way of like entering it into the system and then hopefully it will more organized I’ll ask manager or really well seasoned librarian here on this app to help me deal with the information because I don’t know how to deal with it and I’m too tired right now. But I also borrowed the Kindle version of the blind date with a werewolf, and it does stay all the things that I’m naming here on it in the acknowledgments and the credits page in the beginning of the book. I just don’t know how to enter that proof yet.

Really didn't like all the spider references. I actually caught up in the anime and im so glad I will know what's going on. I do like the Dugeon levels and so forth but felt it was eh. I just really hate how many times spiders were mentioned and were in the storyline for this volume.

2.75. Aka I acknowledge some ideas were finally expressed in a good way and can see why it’s hyped up. I can see how it’s inspirational. That being said. I hated the main character and it felt incredibly long to me. I didn’t really connect with the storyline personally or maybe it reminded me of something or someone that it made me trigger my dislike. It’s a decent book. Some parts is even really good. But overall I wouldn’t say I recommend it enough to one of my friends who rarely reads. Because it’s hard to stay consistent engaged in this book. But it is a very real powerful emotional provoking at some parts. It’s not the most unique idea but it is one that isn’t bad. Btw I loved the first book the midnight library. But this one felt like a eh sequel. This is my personal feelings and perception of my thoughts I truly hope other readers connect to it more than I have.
