I have a soft spot for the classic monster tales. Frankenstein, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Dracula etc.

So this book was great fun to read - it was exciting and fun and I'm looking forward to continuing the series.

This was really good. I especially liked the atmosphere. The book is quite short, well written and interesting. I kind of wanted some more of what happened later.

I'm interested to read more by Sarah Moss.

Powerful and upsetting.

I read the English translation, for work.

Pretty cute, though the writing style annoyed me at times. To be fair the pairings in the sequels seem more interesting to me, so I'll probably keep reading the series.

Cute , funny and a bit silly, this has kept me company while doing chores, organizing my books and more. It was pretty good company.

A pretty charming fairy tale retelling. I really liked the characters in the Harton school, and Lady Cordelia made a devious villain.

I'm sick, so I spent the weekend listening to this.

A nice little collection of short stories. I really like Bradbury's use of language.

I think the stories I liked best from this one were: The Next in Line, The Lake, The Emissary, Jack-in-the-Box, The Wind, There Was an Old Woman, and The Wonderful Death of Dudley Stone.

For me the collection was uneven, and the stories fall inte two categories: stories I loved, and stories that were fine. The collection is well worth the read, though.

The stories I loved were: Among the Thorns, Phosphorus, Emma Goldman Takes Tea with the Baba Yaga, Lily Glass, and Burning Girls.

I've heard it described as low stakes high fantasy. Pretty cute, but perhaps a little too low stakes for me, personally.

I had a hard time getting into this one, I was impatient with the bickering of the women. But as the book went on and I got to know them better I also started caring more about them.

This is a hard read, because of the subject matter.

I was born and raised in Sweden, so these stories are not new to me. Gaiman's version is well written, but doesn't really bring anything new to the table.

Well, I actually saw the play, by our small local English theatre company, starring Susan Akintomide and Lotti Brogan.

I'm not really interested in sports, but the play was great, and the acting was better
