I have absolutely adored this book. The writing style is very approachable and it never ever gets boring. I can't wait to start volume 2! Also, the audiobook is a masterpiece!

I have recently fallen in love with Charlie N Holmberg. I thought the “Paper Magician” trilogy (+1) was fantastic, however, the “Spellbreaker” duology has become one of my favourite fantasy stories ever. I do hope Charlie continues the series somehow in the future.

I really wanted to like this series! Book 1 was very promising; I loved the general premise, but it has gone completely the wrong way for me. I DNF'd Dresden Files after book 5, hoping it would get better, but sadly, Nathan won't be getting any more of my time for now :(

This book is a good follow up to the first one. We get to know better Avery and her friends and things start to get interesting... I can't wait to read the next instalment!

This is like Dresden Files but much better. It's available for free on kindle unlimited (including audio) but I would have happily paid for it. Needless to say I will continue the series.

This book promised much more than what it ended up being, as other reviewers said. I very much doubt that I will be continuing the series.

This short story is a piece of art. It's the first story I've ever read by this author, but I'll definitely be back for more. I think I might have discovered one of my new favourite authors!

I really enjoyed the first book in the series and can't wait to read the second one! This is a ‘cozy' urban fantasy book that serves as a great palate cleanser :)

I DNF'd this book about 80% in. Maybe Star Wars books aren't for me after all. I'll just stick to the movies for now :)

This series has failed to grab my attention to the point that I have DNF'd this book around 80%. I will not continue this series, at least for now.

I couldn't tell the difference in writing style between
this novella and Skyward/Starsight. This is top
quality stuff, like everything that comes out of
Sanderson's pen, and I couldn't tell it was co-written
by someone else. I think this is a must-read before
moving on to Redawn and eventually Cytonic.

Even better on a reread! I decided to listen to this book, as I had already read it physically a few years ago, and it only gets better on a reread :)
