Not for the faint of heart, fascinating and terrible and funny. I wanted a scary book for the Halloween season and this was on my shelf just waiting for me.

Cormac definitely has a way with words which I truly appreciate but these men wandering in Mexico for eons was a bit tedious and sad. There were poignant parts but I felt as though a phase of my life was finally completed when I finished this book, maybe because it took me so long.

I've read all of Carl Hiaasen's books and I'd have to say this one was a bit lackluster for him. Enjoyable, as always, funny characters but the hijinks were a bit reserved. I always look forward to his books though, light, funny reads.

I'm so glad the author expounded on this character from “A Million Little Pieces” What an interesting life, who wouldn't want someone like Leonard watching his back?

I don't care what the status of this book is, fiction, embellished bio, non-fiction...it's a great tale of addiction, the struggles with recovery, in and of itself and with the conventional methods used. I found myself rooting for James all the way.

Great historical fiction, intriguing and well told. A steamy attraction b/tw a tall, fearless, muscular Scot and Claire does not hurt...

A great account of this musician's life and unfortunate demise with a peek into the music culture at the time. Read out of curious interest not because I'm a big fan, if you like music, worth a read.

Truly a classic and as you would guess, the earth is it's own character. Being pregnant in today's world, I have no room to complain!

Hilarity as only Moore can deliver. This book includes a character from each of his prior books. As it says, heartwarming, lovable and rich characters, even if you haven't read all of his books to know them.

My friend from childhood, one of her first to get published!

This was written by an old friend, one of her first to get published. Gritty with some very hot scenes... found out shortly before this was published that she wrote erotica, who knew?

Fabulous... she was a pioneer, what an amazing life. Also teaches quite a bit of history and a lot from a background point of view.

Eye opening, well-told, factual, portrays a piece of history.

An amazing saga of an Indian boy raised by an English father, the conflicts and perspective this brings to his life in Britain-controlled India.

Profoundly imaginative and creative, great first book for an author.

My all time favorite book, a literary roller coaster ride, the only book I've reread and done so right after finishing it. This is not coming from a die-hard Robbins fan, I just loved this book.

A wonderful journey. Charming and sweet and good. Flowing, thoughtful prose.
