Hard to read but seemed weirdly clinical. I guess there is no way to get this story told if you adopt a dispassionate voice, but the loathsomeness of everyone involved in the slave trade should never cease to revolt us.

DNFing at 40% . Don't really have the stomach for A Christmas Carol but for a guy on his deathbed who just basically is trash and got away with all of it.. There is no ending I can imagine that is going to make it worth reading any more of this.
