Gonna save the bigg ass review for the last book, MockingJay. So excited for that bitch...
GREAT BOOK ABOUT THE ADULT ATTACHMENT STYLE. I benefited a lot, and I found myself thinking more about relationships in terms of attachment rather than the stereotypical way. I didn't just like how the author fu** the avoidants like please we do have feelings too
You know you have just read a great book, when it's the only thing you have been thinking of for the whole day.
Although I'm feeling guilty that I binged this book in 2 days. This is easily by far the most entertaining and fun novel I have ever read. I just finished it, but I wish I can go back in time and read it again. That book must have been digested well, in a span of many days.
I loved Katniss so much , how she is thinking, how real her emotions is, how empathetic and smart. Her relationship with Gale and Peeta. The intense fights and emotions inside the Arena, the sounds, the senses. It's like watching a movie, but it's your mind making it. You are living everything inside with the character. Her love to her sister Plim and her avoidant attachment with her mother. The throat cutting fights with Peeta, and Rue's death. The poor vibes that Katniss had, the author's ability to show you genuine poor emotions were so realistic. The fake relationship with Peeta and the media thing made me disgusted but yk, the lovely dystopic things I love. The whole novel fits well with the survival romance theme. 10 outta 10.
