Huh.

That was definitely a book.

I need more word building and history about venin, signents, dragon bonds, luminaries, wards — all the magic stuff. I want to have a better understanding of why all of this matter so I can be truly invested in the world and the character.

Great start, really bad ending

How have I never heard of this book? Longest book I've ever read and devoured it in 2 days. It made me smile, laugh, and cry. Exceptional masterpiece - truly a work of art.

One of my first 5 star books of 2024. Such a great fantasy with a woman as the adventurer and so many memorable lines.

One of my favs: Men find it easier to believe they have been swindled by a witch than outwitted by a woman.

Magnificent, actually 4.75 stars but rounding up. Not a perfect 5 star because it felt like it could have been 100 pages shorter (but I feel that way with a lot of book)

“Long after I am dust, my name will be remembered.”

4.5 ⭐️: I absolutely loved this historical fiction, feminist-reimagining of Jezebel. I definitely recommend!

Romance without being too cliche while world-building and not so intricate that I get lost in the sauce of the lore. This book is truly exceptional.

I have so many thoughts about this book. Without any spoilers, I will say that up until the end it was good and then the ending happened and it was such a lazy let down.

One of the best psychological thrillers I've read in a long time!

4.5/5 What a great book to start off the year with

You know the horror book is good when I gives you nightmares.

3.75/5

The writing was spectacular and I was completely entranced by it. The first 1/3 of the boom had me hooked like no other romance story. However, the last 1/3 of the book fell flat for me.

Very cute, easy to read, cozy, low-stakes murder mystery book.

All I can say is wow. This is a good one. Very excited for the next one! I gave it a 4 because I feel like some of the middle could have been shorter.

Loved the plot, the main character was aggregating at time, and I wish Sammy would have been a more compelling character.

I mean...it was a fine. Would I recommend it? No. It's a book about an intense and deadly case of FOMO.

Really really liked this one! I just wish there had been more explanation of the magical lore side of the story diving deeper into The Enigmas, The Gray, etc.
