I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. The main character had so many facets. The descriptions and actions of all the characters made each one come alive in my head. Interesting facts throughout the book, too.

Fast paced read..figured the twist out as soon as second part started..

This was a book that I liked, but wasn't one that I had to keep reading and couldn't put down. As I was reading it, the reason for wanting to finish the book changed through out the story.
At times the story had me thinking deeply about the characters, the words, the hidden life advice and myself.
I would probably get more out of it rereading it a second time or a third time.
I would recommend this book as it is a short book and deep in a light way.
I am going to watch the movie and that is something I never do with books that become movies, but this one is different.

This was surprisingly a quick read. It kept my interest and I definitely wanted to know the ending. The plot had my emotions fired up at some of the characters.
Interesting time period. Very deep with some of the relationships.

Wow. This book had me from the start. The plot was a little confusing with so many characters at times. I could really relate to a lot of the characters. At times it was very predictable.

Plot keeps you reading and the characters become your family...

This is a story I probably would not have read, however I did enjoy the book. At times I couldn't put the book down and at other points I had to push myself to pick it back up. I can't say I loved the ending...but the ending made me feel a lot of emotion.

Love her words..great descriptions....loved the author's notes... everything comes back to tie together in a way that you would not predict or think with her style of writing....red bandanna ...roof top spot...revist plots and settings and objects
