Couldn't get into the audio because the accent was just too heavily put on for me to enjoy. But... Actually really liked the story once I switched to kindle! Some of the best mental breakdowns I've read in a book, so so good. Reason for no 5 stars: did not like the epilogue and it's another case where there's a lot of bark and no bite imo.

It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be but it was very well written and enjoyable. Would recommend for a quick read/listen!

This book is a great example of why you should atleast finish the first chapter before putting a book down... I got like halfway through chapter 1 and it just felt like every other Insta love book and I was so annoyed cus this book kept getting recommended because of the hurt/comfort and I just didn't see it happening. But then the I decided to try again, and I finished chapter 1... And I was completely sold and devoured the whole book in a few days!
I feel like last year I wouldve rated this 5 stars but I'm being stricter this year, and there was parts in this book I was kind of meh about. Mainly it just felt a little too long and it was a little too Insta lovey for me.

Really quick and fun. Nothing groundbreaking because it's so short but it was fun and whimsical!

Damn wow I didn't realise how mixed the reviews were for this book lol. I don't know anything about the rest of this series but am highly invested in the story to find out! I loved it so much, and am very much just imaging she's 20 turning 21, the age is my only critique.
Besides that it was so dark and twisted and I'm invested and ready for war.

This was surprisingly much more enjoyable than I anticipated. Yea she was itchy but like... I kinda loved it how he treated her because of it lol.

This really surprised me, I loved it so much! The pacing was surprisingly slow seeing how short the book is, which I loved. The characters were nice and the story was pretty good.

I really love this series. I wish I had more to sya but like come on this trope is just amazing. And the suspense and drama is chefs kiss. I love this little family of characters that this series has created so much!

Thank you for the Arc! I really liked the writing and most of the characters. I was just kind of confused with the overall vibe of the book I guess? But I think this just a personal preference, I think someone who prefers late in life books would love this! Just for me it's a bit too realistic and I tend to not want that in my romance haha. Still great writing and story though!

I don't know what I was expecting going into this, but this was better! Such fun characters, really interesting story, loved the pacing and the mystery. Really excited that this is a series so we get to explore more with these character!

Fml why why why did I have to read this arc early.... It's too good. And that ending... Just Fml. Like this is amazing. The 1 complaint is the same as the first book, it is really annoying that the same information is repeated again and again. Besides that it's absolutely wonderfully written, characters are f-ing amazing and the story is chefs kiss. I'm so intrigued where this is heading because some things were pointed out that I didn't even think about! But dear lord I cannot wait until the next one comes out already!!

At first it reminded me of Lucy Score with the fun small town vibes, but I overall wasn't too impressed. The mystery was not very mysterious, I did not care at all to find out the answer. And the romance felt very very predictable. I did like logan a lot.

It just did not hit the same as the other books to be honest. I liked it but not enough.

I really liked the story but the writing wasn't fully it for me. Would still highly recommend!

So I feel like this book was a 5 star read for like 70% of it and then I got soooo bored omg. The FMC needs to make up her mind ffs. I didn't read the ending, hopefully I'll get to it at some point and it will change my mind and I'll want to continue the series, but as of now I cannot fathom wanting to read so many chonky books if this is the storyline. I wish it was shorter and a bit more to the point, like I love slow burn but not when you're just constantly repeating yourself and going in circles. Again, most of the book was really good but its never a good sign when I get too bored to finish it.

I wish it was a full length book because it was so good! Also wish a physical copy was available because look at that!!!

Omg yes yes yes yes!! This is exactly the book I've been looking for for ages!!! Amazing premise, amazing execution of the story, amazing characters, just perfection all around! The only thing that I wish was a little different, was the amount of times the same thoughts were repeated. Your girl is truly an overthinker and is repeating herself multiple times a chapter, so that can get a bit much. But besides that, I absolutely can't wait to read more! Here's hoping I won't have to wait too long between each book!

I feel like I'm becoming a horror girly. This was such a fun read! Love the story, love the characters, what a great find!

Loveee the set up for the series! Only negative is the pacing in this book. It goes at a regular speed at first and then some time jumps which makes sense because it's a short book. But then someone hit fast forward and we are just leaping through time. I think it would have been much nicer if it was maybe 10 more pages and slowed down significantly towards the end again. Regardless, so so excited to continue reading this series because I imagine the longer books won't have this issue!

I LOVED this omg!! This book felt so unique, the characters were really likeable (even though we're supposed to not like them all oops) and the story was soo good. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there was a point where I felt like the story was progressing really slowly and I was really close to stopping. I gave it 1 more chapter and I'm SO glad that I did because it really picked up after that!! So if you feel like its going slow, just stick with it, I promise its worth it!

Phenomenal. That's the only word I could use to describe this book. I can't get over how amazing their books are. This book had me worried for a while it wasn't going to be good but my guesses of what was happening were so wrong and the ending was absolutely perfect!

I was expecting this to be like all the others but I was pleasantly surprised! I think the story was a really interesting take on the mythology and the characters were likable.

Wow that was phenomenal. I didn't realise this was a series so I'm really excited to see them more!! I usually have dips in interest in a story but this had so many elements that it kept me sucked in the whole time. I was a bit confused at times when we would change perspective to keep up with who's who but I think that was the point.

Such an enjoyable quick read, the story was fast paced but it still felt like I knew and understood the characters and there was a pretty decent dive into the backstory. The ending was thoroughly entertaining!
