I really liked the concept but the ending was so cringe to me lol. The relationshjip development was also very eh.

The writing was good, but besides that it was not for me.

Quick paced and fun, I actually managed to guess who did it but the story was still pretty good. I just really hate rich people in books lol.

Such a fun read, I love that she is writing beyond just contemporary romance now!!! Will always want more <3

The love story in this was absolutely trash. I'm sorry but I have never cringed this hard at a book, there was absolutely 0 chemistry. I was honestly hoping for a plot twist ending to make it worth it but nah. The story itself I found pretty interesting and entertaining, I agreed with a lot of the complaints about true crime. So that is kinda the only thing that is giving this book any amount of stars. Maybe my hopes were just too high because the title is catchy.

I've loved Ali's books for a while, but wow this was amazing! Just 2 notes; first this book should have some content warnings up front about some pretty heavy topics in the beginning of the book, second I think koen was a bit low on personality, but Serena made up for it tbh. But this is defo my fav book so far, it's making me realise some others are probably not 5 star material but this one should be 10 star honestly. Absolutely devoured this book and just makes me wish more and more that Ali will become a fantasy author! Regardless, she will forever be an instant buy Author for me.

This started amazing, then I got a bit bored but overall it was fun! I saw this talked about in the context that it would be romance but uh where??? Also if this is anything other than a RH, then this author needs to rethink how they write their characters because if this is a romance, it has to be that. I don't know who on earth who is meant to be the love interest here. But honestly, I kinda vibe with it too.

I really don't like being super critical of books but this was just so awful, I really couldn't find any part of it that I liked. Especially when its paired in a collection with really fun books this was just not it.

Wow this was amazing, I love the writing style so much that I just get immediately sucked into the story. The FMC is delightfully ridiculous and the MMC the perfect amount of grumpy. Loveee the slow burn and can't wait for more!

Absolutely wonderful. Such a refreshing book, really good writing, chemistry and plot. Think it went a bit fast at times but the beginning was just right with the pacing.
