Started this one just to have a book to have on in the background but actually got so invested! Very surprised how much I liked it. It's included in audible plus at the moment and is a pretty quick listen. Amazing narration and really fun past paced story with a great plot line. A lot of focus on body image so if you are sensitive to that be careful but besides that great book!

Really cute winter holiday read!

I think it is a 5 star story but I got bored too many times to justify that really. Also the narration just felt a bit one tone at times, like we're in the middle of an intense fight, why does it sound the same as 2 people having a casual conversation? Really excited to keep going with the series tho!

Took such a long time to get into this but the last 2 stories were impeccable but soul crushing.

I liked most of it, especially the ending of part 1! Sooo good. But overall the book left me all disappointed sadly.

Very atmospheric book for being so short! I was expecting this to be very fast paced and not much to it but I loved the world and the char terms that this book built. I'm keen to read more!

These books just keep getting better! I will be reading the rest of the books she's written for sure. Absolutely beautiful book, the chemistry was perfect and the slow burn as well, I lived the little cameo's!

Really loved it, especially the unhinged energy. But to me the MMC was not that likeable? And I feel like the conflict was way too easily restored, though I suppose that does fit the FMC's personality. I think it went on a little bit too long, there was a few times where I felt like the same dialogue was just copy pasted. Overall really fun book, deifnately will be reading the rest in the series!

See I know this is not a literary masterpiece. But I just truly don't care. I think this is 100% going to be a guilty pleasure series. I'm a sucker for dark and twisted backstories and feminine rage so sign me the F up!

Omg omg omg, I can't believe it took me so long to finish this! Absolutely amazing world and amazing characters. I just got distracted by life and then it's hard to continue a book at 80% after a while but oh my goodness... I'm so glad I did and now I can't wait to read the rest!!

Omg what an amazing book! Amazing characters, amazing Interesting story. 2 points I didn't enjoy as much, first the story felt a bit confusing at times, like some chapters were in the wrong order almost, secondly the ending (if you can even call it an ending) felt so abrupt that I was so confused like I was missing some pages. Regardless, I love the world and can't wait to read all the other books!

Feel like there needs to be a trigger warning for the opening of this book, my goodness. I don't want to spoil but if you think this book is about being snowed in in a cabin/hotel/anything, you're wrong. You have been warned... After the opening horror it goes to your usual RH with a little bit of story.

Amazing book, terrible narration. Mostly personal preference but I can't stand the posh British accent, but put that aside, when they try to speak the other characters lines I was cringing. The female narrator made hades sound like an old man, and the male narrator made Persephone sound like an annoying child. So I would recommend reading rather than listening for this one.

Sooo fun! I loved the pacing in this book, the characters all had personalities and there was a development of the relationships so it didn't just feel like a quick fix kind of book. Would honestly enjoy more stories with these characters! The one thing that, I honestly didn't mind that much, but felt very strange to me was 1 ‘fade to black' scene. Just felt strange compared to the rest of the book but still loved it so much!

Absolutely in love with this series! Can't wait to see more! The characters are carried from the first book but develop so amazingly in this one and the story was not even close to what I expected. If you're looking for suspense, steam and a bit of drama, this is definitely for you!

I really liked it but I didn't absolutely love it. MMC was waaaaay better than FMC, especially later in the book. But it was enjoyable because I felt like a very well rounded story, lots of different locations and you really follow them through time. The supporting characters were also 10/10 along with MMC. Definitely a lot of good banter that made me laugh.

Amazing for spooky season. Ever thought: I wish the Addams family was spicy? Well this is the book for you! I loved the spooky and mysterious vibes and the spice was great. Amazing little story if you're into paranormal romance.

What a rollercoaster! Started as such nice seasonal vibes book, very cosy and cute. The time jump was a bit odd to me, felt like it skipped some of the dynamics but my goodness how the story escalates from there. I was not expecting such a whirlwind and was very pleasantly surprised! The only thing I didnt vibe with as much is that I felt like her thoughts were described a bit too on the nose, everything was in so much detail and repeated a lot where I feel it was not needed. But overall absolutely amazing story, so excited to read the next installment!

Absolutely obsessed with this series, the twists and turns towards the end and the constant mystery is amazing. I have so many ideas in my head of what is going on and how it will go and I can't wait to read the final instalment!

My goodness... I went into this book purely based off the fact that it was dark academia, I didn't look into it beyond that in the slightest. I never expected to be thrown into a murder mystery type book with steamy spice in it. But now I'm hooked to keep reading the rest of the series.

It took me about 4 months to actually finish this book... But the ending made it so so much better. I really liked her storyline throughout the book but it felt very slow at times and I think the narration was not very good. So that probably impacted my enjoyment throughout. But overall, I'm not gonna take many points off for that because looking back the story was pretty amazing, very empowering and although a bit cliche at times, I loved the whirlwind of the story at the end of the book. It made the whole thing so much better. I've heard people say they didn't want to read this book compared to the rest of the series, and I understand it, but my god it is worth it!
