Had to re-read this one to prepare for the upcoming new book. All I can say is, WOW again. Read in 2014 and again in 2022...I almost gave up on this one but WOW! What an AMAZING book. Definitely a must read.
An awesome book set in Columbus, Ohio. A story about family secrets and what can happen with just one text while driving. The lives of two families are forever shattered because of one text that could have very well waited... So very sad and while it is fictitious, it happens too often.
I guess I should have guessed by the title how this story was going to end, but seriously?? Did you really have to do that J.D. Mason? I hope there is a book 3.
“What I regret most in my life are failures of kindness. Those moments when another human being was there, in front of me, suffering and I responded...sensibly. Reservedly. Mildly.”
WOW!! My first book by Hopkins, but certainly not my last. The narrators in the audio version were excellent! I cried a lot, but I laughed even more! Hilarious, honest, and heartwarming (and a little risque ;)
Harlan Coben is my favorite mystery writer! And this is now my favorite book by him! Great story, great characters, and just when you think all the secrets have been revealed, he lays one more on you! Loved it!!
Leila Meacham did it again! Her books are mesmerizing, enchanting tales that I just cannot put down! Loved it (not as much as Roses because it will always be my favorite) but a great novel all the same!!
