Group of women get together on Friday nights for a girls night out. Drinking, guns, and trouble occurs.

Apocalyptic story about a family who are the run for their lives. From what, no one seems to know for sure. Some people are affected, some aren't, but Jack will do whatever it takes to save his family.

I enjoyed this story for the most part, the ending just seemed hurried and rushed.

Tom, who want to spend more time with his daughter, Frankie, so he books a cabin at The Hollows.
There is something weird about the place from the beginning. There they meet podcasters, who tell the story about murders that happened there years in the past. It becomes clear that something is still going on there, and Tom and Frankie must uncover the truth.

About a priest named Tyler, who meets a woman named Poppy, who makes him break his vows. Very steamy.

Sloan is in a relationship with Asa, who is not a good person. But she feels like she is trapped, since he is helping her brother out. Then along comes Carter, but can she trust him. He seems like a good guy.

I really enjoy Colleen Hoover's books, especially the darker ones like this one. I also enjoyed Verity.

I really enjoyed this one. About a boy and his mom walking along a street, the boy run ahead of the mom and is hit by a car. The mom is grief stricken of course.

But, the twists in this book are something I didn't see coming. The book was sad, but I couldn't put it down.

Listened to on audio, trying to track down a serial killer who has killed to women dousing them with gasoline. It reminds Ann of someone from her past.

Was an enjoyable read.

A group of final girls meet for therapy, then a couple of them miss a meeting. Their worse fears are realized. This was not one of my favorites, I just didn't care about any of the characters. I had such high hopes for this one.

Teddy who is teacher of the year at a very posh private high school just can't be bothered with all the parents of his student's who just want the “best” for their child. With changed grades or extra credit. Or other teachers who stand in his way.

I didn't get the hype behind this one, it was just ok for me. Maybe I will give the rest of the series a go sometime. But right now just not interested.

I enjoyed it. Kept my attention while reading, although I don't think it will be book that will stick with me.

A couple on their honeymoon on a secluded island. What could be more romantic? What could possibly go wrong? A stalker?

Good twist with this one..

I enjoyed this one, even though I figured things out early on. Was pretty predictable .

Car trip with a stranger, could be a serial killer. That sounds like my kind of book. I liked this one very much. Things aren't always what they seem.. Loved the 90's vibe in this on as well. Plenty of twists to keep you guessing.

I am loving this series. Can not wait till the next book. Come on how can it end like that

Was just ok for me. Not one of my favorites by Grisham.

Told from multiple point of view. One woman goes missing, then another women and her child goes missing. Are the connected or just coincidental.

Very intriguing story with an ending I did not see coming. Kept me guessing up until the end.

So good. This series is just so good. Poppy, Casteel. Just so good.

Could be spoilers

This one was good. I enjoyed it, didn't love it. Matt, finds out that his family has just been murdered all but one who is in jail.

The FBI has contacted him to go identify the bodies in Mexico. By the time he gets there the bodies have already been released.

Has this got something to do with the investigation his father and sister were doing to get Matt's brother released from prison?

Pippa “Pip” is doing her senior capstone project on the murder of Andie Bell. Along with Ravie, the younger brother of the person originally believed to have killed Andie, they set out to prove everyone wrong.

I enjoyed this book, it had enough twists and turns to keep my interest. I wanted to know how it ended and I thought it was well written. I don't believe that I will be continuing with the series.

Love & Retaliation J A Owenby

5 STARS!!!!

Heart-wrenching. Dark. Intense.

Owenby doesn't disappoint. She has fast became one of my favorite, auto-read authors.

Love & Retaliation is a dark romance. That shows just how far we go for love. What limits we will break, and when we get that person back again just how much harder we will fight for their soul.

The 2nd in a 2 part series.

Presentation is 5 stars all the way!!

Meanwhile, the storyline did fall a little short. I enjoyed it, it just wasn't as good as the other two books I have read by the same author. My Best Friend's Exorcism and The Southern Book Club's Guide To Slaying Vampires.

Gripping, thought provoking, sad. Two sisters, Martha trying to balance motherhood and a career. Becky does what any loving sister would do steps in to babysit. Only, Layla is not an easy baby, and then when tragedy strikes and Becky is charged with murder of Layla.

The author does a great job of balancing the courtroom and family drama. Will definitely read from this author again.

I really enjoyed this book. Podcaster Trinity Scott, telling the story of Leena Rai. A young girl who was going murdered by Clayton Jay Pelley. Who later confessed to her murder. But, can Trinity uncover all the secrets the lead to the confession? And what happens when secrets that have been kept for over 2 decades are brought out in the open?

Not one of my favorites that I have read. Lily who lives in an apartment building has taken up watching her neighbors. And when something happens to one of them she tries to figure out what or who caused her death. And by doing so puts herself in danger.
