My Hurricane by J A Owenby is the story of Walker. It puts you right in his shoes, see the overwhelming circumstances he faces in the months leading up to meeting Lacey. Owenby writes from the male point of view very well. It's a very quick read but gives great insight to the reasons why Walker is. You need to read it. Once again she does not disappoint. 5 stars.

This is the final book in the trilogy. Once again J.A. Owenby captures your attention from page one. This book picks up right where the second leaves off. Owenby really paints a picture of an abusive relationship and the trauma it causes the person and those close to them. I couldn't put it down I laughed, cried and cheered Laci on, as she fought to recover from years of abuse. Reading the book you feel like you are apart of the story. Laci has great friends that have always been there for her, and along the way she meets some new ones. And yes, George is back!! Definitely recommend this book, read it you won't regret it one bit.

What did I just read?? I enjoyed this book. But, I don't think I have read anything like this in a long time. Definitely did not see that end coming. If you enjoy psychological thrillers with a twist, then this is your book.

Tracy Crosswhite and The A team are at it again in this lastest mystery from Robert Dugoni. It's the story of Andrea Strickland and her husband. I really enjoyed this book it kept my attention with all the twists and turns.

Epic ending to the trilogy. Man, what an ending. Justin Cronin can tell one heck of a story. I couldn't wait to get to the end and at the same time I didn't want it to end because I loved these characters so much.

I was lucky to get an early release of Echoes Beneath. This is the 2nd book in the series of Lacey's story. She has left Arkansas to start college in Oregon to get away from her Mother and her past. There she makes new friends and meets an perhaps meets a new love? Xander, handsome, quarter-back, comes to her rescue. But, once again Lacey finds herself in a dangerous relationship. I have got to say I love George!! Author J.A. Owenby grips you from the first page and keeps your attention until the last page. She has a way of making you feel like you are in Lacey's shoes. All I can really say is, Just read it. You won't regret it. Now the wait for book 3.

Really enjoyed this book. I have got to say Blake Crouch can keep you on the edge of your seats. You have got to read this. This book starts off with Jason getting kidnapped and waking with people in hazmat suits claiming to be his friends. Only problem, he doesn't remember them. As his memories come back to him he must fight his way back to his wife and son. I don't want to say much more than that. Cuz I don't want to spoil it for anyone. I really think it's best to go into this book not knowing much about it. I think this will be at the top of my list for favorite books this year.

Like others have stated I enjoyed Ruth Ware's first book much better. This book just left me wanting more. Some of her descriptions of people were just off putting and some of the plot twists were just too predictable. I found it hard to like the main character Laura.

What can I say about this book that others haven't said? Just read it. In fact read every book that has Tana French's name on it. You will not be disappointed.

I certainly hope there will be another book after this one.

This is on of my favorite books.

I just finished The Truth She Knew. It's the story of Lacey and her mother who has a mental illness. She abusive towards Lacey. Mama tells Lacey she is filled with demons and Lacey believes, because this has become her truth. Everything changes when she meets Walker. J.A. Owen by tells the story of Lacey in a way that makes you feel like you a right there with her. I cried through the book. I could not believe some of the things mama done or said to Lacey. And the sister was just as bad. Like other reviewers have said I almost threw my kindle against the wall at the end when Walker done what he did.

I can't wait to read book two in the series.

It was a little slow to start for me as you can see by the length of time it took me to read it. But, once I really got in to it, it grabbed my attention. Now, that's not to say this is the best book I have ever read but I would recommend it. I don't think you would be disappointed with this one.

While I did enjoy this book. I found it quite depressing. These girls have some of the worst luck. In this book we see the worst of people and some of the best in people. I would recommend reading it for yourself, as I did enjoy reading it as I do all of Chevy Stevens books, this one was just really depressing.

Great story. I didn't want it to end. Was a great ending to the this trilogy. Can't believe the ending though, was not prepared for that. Read it you won't regret it.

Pretty predictable. But a good summer read. Would definitely recommend you read it. Very enjoyable quick read.

I loved this book. It's about a post apocalyptic time where a spore that cause people to get what's called Dragonscale. Harper the loving nurse gets in while volunteering at the hospital. Jakob her jerk of a husband doesn't want anything to do with her after her finds out she is infected. So he leaves her pregnant and alone. She meats up with “the fireman” who has learned to control the scale. He takes her to Camp Wyndam, where there are others living with the scale. But, things are not always what they seem.

I enjoyed reading this book. Although, this was not one of my favorite reads. It was a quick read. I could have read it in one sitting if I didn't have a job and family responsibilities. It could of had more depth to. But all in all I did enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this book. It's about a detective, Frank Mackey, whose girlfriend disappears on the night they were suppose to runaway together. He is called back to his hometown and his estranged family when Rosie's remains are found 22 years later. It really kept me guessing till the end. Tana French can really write a good mystery.

First time I didn't figure out the ending of a book! Really like this book.
