I loved this book. Very well written. Character driven. Held my attention from the beginning.

Typical thriller. Boy meets girls, takes advantage at a young age. Girl can't let go.

Loved this book. Read it. Fast paced thriller about time travel. Keeps you wanting more. Didn't want it to end, yet couldn't get there fast enough.

Such a good book. Stranded a rest stop in Colorado. When it's discovered that there is a kidnapper among the group. The child is in a dog crate in a mini-van,but who does the van belong to? This is an action packed thriller. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Enjoyed reading this book. Hearing her stories growing up some sad, some funny.

Listen to the audio version of this book did not realize this was book four in the series. (Chirp)

Although, I was able to follow the story, now that I know it's book 4, that explains the fact that if felt like it started in the middle. Lol.

Cassie, female officer who is after a truck driver known as the Lizard King, turned serial killer. Who has now kidnapped to local teenagers who took off on a raft on an adventure. He holds them hostage with dog collars he engineers into shock-explosive collars.

I enjoyed listening to the story it held my attention but I don't know if I could have listened to all four books or read them.

Gripping thriller of three friends set out to investigate an urban legend. There is high school bullying, peer pressure and plenty of twists. Keeps you guessing right up to the end. I really enjoyed this and didn't see that ending coming.

I fell in love with Kya. She was abandoned age 10 and was known all over town as the “Marsh Girl”. Two local boys took interest in her. Tate, who is her first love and teacher her to read. Then there is Chase, the local high school quarterback. Kya's story of who she is able to survive alone and thrive in the marsh is heartwarming until tragedy strikes. I keep thinking about the characters in the book after I have finished it. Definitely recommend!!

This is the second book I have read by this author. While I did not enjoy this one as well as “The Kind Worth Killing “. It was still an enjoyable read. Kate and Corbin are cousins and they decide to swap apartment for 6 mos. Soo. After Kate arrives at her new apartment she discovers that a murder has occurred in her new apartment building. Evidence points toward Corbin. But is someone setting him up?

This one took me awhile to get into. I did not enjoy it as well as his other books.

Love & Consequences J A Owenby. We first met Mac in the Love & Ruin series, she is Gemma's hyperactive best friend and college roommate. This is her story. And what a story it is. She goes on tour with Gemma and Hendrix. There she reunites with Cade, who helps her thru her nightmares. Which turns into much more. This is another must read by Owenby. She just keeps getting better. I read it in one sitting, so captivating!!

This is the 2nd book in the series. Mike played a bigger part in this story, Deanna's hacker, I really like him. I hope he hangs around in book 3. I liked this one as much or even a little more than book one.

This is the 5th in the Tracy Crosswhite series. We get more of Del, Faz and Kins in this story, which I enjoyed. But this wasn't one of my favorites from this author. Still worth the read.

The Allbrights move to Alaska and they are painfully unprepared. After returning from the war (Vietnam) Ernt is full of big dreams and ideas, that never really go as planned. Alaska is full of dreams and dangers. But what happens when the danger is inside your house.

I love this book. It's going to be hard to find a book to top this for me this year. Definitely a 5 star read.

While I enjoyed this book it wasn't one of my favorites.

Wow! Now this was a good book. Two people meet on a flight, and one agrees to help the other kill his wife who is having an affair with the contractor. But that is just the beginning. I loved all the twists and turns in this book. This was very well done the twists were not forced. You need to read it. Soooo good!

I enjoyed this book. If you don't like reading sexy stuff, then this isn't going to be your cup of tea.

But, what I did enjoy was the strong female lead. She locks herself in her apartment to protect others from her killing urges. She does cyberporn and somehow gets involved in a kidnapping. Definitely holds your attention. Would recommend.

A Gathering of Secrets is the latest in the Kate Burkholder series. It opens with a burning barn that kills a young Amish man, that most thought highly of. Turns out he had dark secrets. This latest installment moves along at a fast pace and keeps your attention. I have read all the books in the series and have enjoyed them all. This one does not disappoint.

Was such a good story. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys historical fiction. This really shows the strength of women and just how far they will go to protect their own and things they believe in. One of my favorite reads.

I don't know why this author feels it necessary to write the main female character as so weak and flawed. Don't think I will continue the series. Very disappointing.

Love & Redemption J A Owenby....book 3 of the trilogy. Man what a ride!!! I couldn't read this book fast enough, but at the same time did not want it to end. Gemma & Hendrix have been thru a lot together. Just when you think that Owenby has tossed them more than they can handle, you just wait. Book 3 is so intense and full of twists. I read thru tears and holding my breath to find out what was going to happen next. Gemma really grew into one amazing young lady. Owenby just keeps getting better. Definitely needs to be on everyone's must read list.

Didn't like the way the book started from the end and was told backwards. Made it hard to connect with its characters.

Love & Deception by J. A. Owenby
In the continuing story of Gemma. Owenby has a way of telling a story that makes you, the reader feel what the characters are going thru. In this 2nd part of the trilogy, you find out even more of the terrible things that Gemma has had to endure, and just what lengths her friends will go thru to help her. Owenby sheds light on an ugly subject without glamorizing it. You need to read these books, you may cry, ok you will cry. But, read them, people need to know that these things go on in our world

Love & Ruin by J.A. Owenby. She has done it again. This book grabbed me from the beginning. Owenby makes you feel like you are there. Gemma a small town girl, heads off to college to escape her painful past, with the help of her best friend Ada Lynn. There she meets her roommate, Mac, who is loud, hyper and is ok with the fact that Gemma hides herself behind hats and glasses. Then there is Hendrix, handsome, a singer, and totally falls for Gemma. But, has heartbreak in his past as well. Will Gemma let him tear down the walls she has built up to protect herself? Is Hendrix too good to be true?

I love the relationship between Jamie and Claire. But, it took me awhile to finish this one.

Would recommend it if you have read the other books in the series. I will finish the series, but I am going to take a break from it.
