A Crocodile Should Never Skip Breakfast

Wrote a review for

This book is perfect! Crocodile keeps getting more and more hungry throughout the day after skipping breakfast, thankfully his good friend, Hippo, steps in before the monkeys become a snack.
The illustrations are absolutely precious!

Kittentits

NOPE NOPE NOPE. I never DNF advanced copies, but I simply cannot and will not finish this book. The writing is terrible, the language is foul (coming from someone who curses often, but I can't stand the r-word every two sentences, especially from a 10 year old's mouth), and the characters are atrocious. I usually will say a book just isn't for me and to go ahead and give it a try, but this time I'm very strongly recommending you avoid.

I didn't finish this, but I'm still giving it a 2.5 because the idea is very interesting and the execution isn't too bad. However, it started getting boring about halfway through.

Everybody said to read it for the ending, but even the ending didn't save it. I'm sorry, this was a slog.

Great concept, interesting characters, but this book is just too long for what it is. Cut off about 150 pages and i'd be happy.

I can literally NOT finish this book. I have never been so turned off by a book before in my life, and I even suffered through Fifty Shades. Lord, I loved Odd Thomas but this is just way too much. I need brain bleach.
