I'm a sucker for Dystopian literature, apparently. This was a good story and I looked forward to listening to more of the story each time I got in the car, even if there was a little too much relationship stuff in it for me. I don't understand why so many of these stories feel the need to have a “love” triangle. Just doesn't seem necessary. But overall a good story!

This was an adorable book! I loved the illustrations and I thought the story was particularly sweet. I think the yucky Valentine gifts would make this a great Valentine's Day book for boys too!

I really find the characters in the story charming, from Kate to her son to her best friend. Love hearing about their adventures. Great listen on the way into work.

So.... I really liked Divergent. I have no idea what I really think about Insurgent. I was talking with my hubby about the book and told him that it was crazy. Crazy how? he asked. Just crazy, I told him. Crazy like the second season of a HBO series? he asked. I couldn't have put it better myself. Insurgent is the equivalent of the second season of a HBO series. That's not a good thing in my opinion, but might be for others. I didn't love the book, but I didn't hate it either.

This was probably my favorite out of the Twilight series, probably b/c I could just suspend my thoughts that it should be set in some sort of reality. Also, it was kinda nice not having to read Bella's griping for hundreds of pages.
