I loved the movie Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken. When I learned the movie was based on the true accounts of Sonora Carver I had to read it. It seems the only thing the movie had right was she rode diving horses, she went blind, and she continued after. If you loved the movie I would recommend reading the book. I loved the details you learn about the horses as well.

Like Station 11. Not so much about the dystrophic world but the people (Indigenous/First Nation) affected by that world.
I read it but heard audiobook is really good.

Really is like Agatha Christie meets Groundhog Day. Less funny more suspense/mystery. Recommend.

Great pacing until Russia where, for me, it felt a little slow but picks up again after that.

While I love the world and I liked the different character perspective I wasn't completely into the adventure.

A happy reunion.

Really loved reading Genevieve's happily ever after.

While good I found myself lost on some of the pop-culture references.

If you are a fan I would recommend listening to the Audiobook. It has tons of extra since Eddie is expanding/updating on the book as he's recording. It is a memoir so it's not always funny but I think it's always interesting.

It was fine. Just expected a bigger pay off.

I love spending time with Veronica and Stoker. Always ready for a mystery especially with Veronica's family relations. Fun read. Hard part...waiting for the next one.

Probably a 3.5. Loved the world building and I'm looking forward to second book in series. Just think it suffered from first book by an author issues that I think will be fix with second.

Most of this book dragged for me. Half way through, it started improving and it finally picked up at the end but was this book a struggle for me. It made me question whether I want to continue with reading the series or just watch the show.

I thought most of the advice was just traditional advice and made perfect sense.

While the writing was good I found the story slow. Also, the paranormal parts were hinted at and most of the book was quick to rap up in the last 50 pages or so and felt rushed. I think this just suffered from first novel but I don't think I'll continue on with this series anytime soon. I would consider reading a different series by the same author though.
