Okay, I realize this series is odd to begin with (trying to explain it to my husband is very interesting...), but this book has yanked odd in a whole new direction.

Title still has nothing to do with the book.

Title has absolutely nothing to do with the book...

I have to admit, I've read a lot of LDS fiction that seemed...artificial. This one, however, did not (in general). I also have to admit I went through a few tissues.

Absolutely ridiculous, both in credibility and amusement.

2 1/2 stars.

Okay, so this isn't TECHNICALLY a homeschool book (in fact, the word was only mentioned about once), but I extrapolated some NICE answers to things people tell me when they're being obnoxious about family's educational choices....

Some unnecessary swearing, etc. I liked the conclusion. 2 1/2 stars.

Disappointingly, this one, even though Jesus is an adult (big change from the last book!), still spends more time on Jesus's friends and only a little time on him. Still well researched.

The characters were weak, the science was unbelievable, the conclusion was unrealistic. Honestly, how many reputable scientists do you know who spit on their work?

Not a nice book. Not sure I want to read the sequel...

Absolutely hilarious!! Probably the funniest thing I've read all month.

Intriguing concept, poorly executed. Bad language. 1 1/2 stars.

I admire Ellen, but there were a lot of things I did not like. So far, Countess Downstairs is still my favorite by this author.

Advice on how to administer & record high school to improve chances of college admittance. Includes frequent examples and extra resources at the end of each chapter. I can see it being very helpful. It was clear and gave options instead of just saying “this is the way.”

I think this one was even better than the first book. Cadel is much more human when he's not trying to be evil.

Private enemies at school, Rick & Jesse get conjured to a parallel world to save it from the fierce wolf Fenris. If they can work together, they might be able to overcome all the obstacles in their path, but if they can't give up their animosity, both worlds will fall.

I didn't buy the explanation for the Death weapon, especially against the human/K'da combo, but other than that, I really enjoyed this conclusion of the series.

I like her style, but this book had more content issues for me than the last one I read. (Nothing explicit at all.)

It was interesting seeing the difference between the book & the movie. The book, btw, would have been better with a little bit of content editing, in my opinion.

The situations aren't necessarily comedic, but the lines are... I probably have a warped sense of humor, though.

I think the series is improving.
