I have used this book for emergency preparation classes and scouting. It is a one of kind and excellent resource. A must have any one interested in out door living, cooking or just plain fun in the outdoors the easy way.

A bit outdated (it didn't mention mummy bags, for instance), but it had lots of ideas. Most of them seemed like a lot of work to me, but some of them I liked and I'm sure other people would like others of the ideas. Only a few recipes, but lots of cooking/baking ideas & techniques. It has other camping tips, too, but my favorites were mostly the cooking ones.
