3.5 stars

Could have been great, but everything was way too easy and convenient.

Lots of pep talk, not so much help.

The only bad part: now I want to get lost down the rabbit hole...

Had a lot of potential, but never quite pulled it off. Also ended on a cliffhanger.

Includes actual suggestions for improving speed and stamina.

Simple YA romance, but I liked it

It was easy to predict but well-executed and fun to read. I was a bit surprised none of the therapy so central to her life made it in, even as a calendar entry.

2.5 stars. Nice concept, needs work.

Lots of useful tips on life as a teenager, told with humor and an easy-to-read style. If you follow Trina's advice, you'll have fun while you become (even more of) a wonderful being and learn the skills you need to be a great adult.

Technically well-written, but the story lacked spark. The characters fell in love for shallow reasons and the conflict was weakly convenient. 2.5 stars.

It has a lot of good information, including some coaching prompts to help you practice skills, but it can be a bit repetitive at times. Nonetheless, I took notes.
I'll give it 3 stars for now. If it works like a dream, maybe I can figure out how to upgrade the stars. ;)

Patricia's Brigg's story is good, but each succeeding story sank deeper and deeper into “I don't want to read this,” ending with “oh-my-goodness-this-is-straight-porn.” If it weren't a library book, I'd have ripped off the story I wanted and burned the rest.

Not as fun as Encyclopedia Brown, but not bad.

The first few stories were fun. The last two were trash.

3.5 stars. Another nice, “there's no one-size-fits-all but let me give you some tips to get you started” book.
