Well?… Can a person be a ghost without dying? Maybe it’s me, but I was confused by the apparitions! I thought this book was going in a different direction. However, I did enjoy the personalities of the characters! 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I’ve never read a book structured this way. There are 2 stories happening at the same time. One for Madison and one for Johnny. The Madison “thriller” story was wonderful… however, I feel we could have done without Johnny’s “fantasy” story as it felt out of place! 5 Stars for the Madison story and 3 Stars for the Johnny story!

In the best possible way, all of the characters in this book are nuts… Even the house and bird are crazy! 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I know this book probably has a deeper meaning - However, I spent the entire time reading it worrying about the safety of the horse! 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I almost didn’t finish the book because it had that moment, as in most scary stories, where you question why they just don’t run and leave and never come back! However, I’m glad I finished it as they did explain why they couldn’t leave, and all of the chaos was worth it in the end! Let me know your opinion if I should continue with Books 2 and 3? 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️!

You know it’s a great book when you both hated it and loved it at the same time and can’t stop thinking about it! 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I typically don’t care for books with amnesia. However, I’m glad I hung in there with this one as when she got her memory back, it got pretty exciting! 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️!

One of the lessons of this book is that sometimes it’s okay to hold onto those devastating times in your life as you can come out the other side stronger and more amazing! 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I would love for one time in a book for the psychiatrist to actually believe that the patient truly saw an apparition, ghost, or haunting! 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

A “reverse haunting” is just brilliant! And that twisted ending keeps me up at night! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

The main character makes Elizabeth Holmes look like a saint! I loved all the lies, lies, and then more lies! I just wanted a little more from the ending! 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Geez Charlotte, just rip my heart out and shred it to pieces why don’t you with your book! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Grab yourself a pumpkin spice latte and plug in your plastic jack o’lantern and sit back and enjoy how this mystery (set the week of Halloween) unfolds! I promise you that you won’t predict the big plot twist! 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! I would have given it 5 Stars if two of the characters didn’t get away with committing a terrible crime!

I promised myself no corny plant jokes… But the last fourth of this book is very suspenseful and will have you shaking like a leaf - Ha Ha! 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ as some parts were a little too long and repetitive.

What a fun and thrilling book for the kids! And the illustrations are a nice touch to give it a scary edge! 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️!

This book has it all… Witches, Apparitions, Gaslighting, and Deception… There is even a Buried Treasure! 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! I would have given it 5 Stars, however the first half of the book really drags its feet - but the second half catches fire!

If the books “House of Leaves” and “Alice in Wonderland” had a baby it would be called “Mayra”! If you like strange books, this one is for you! 3 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I’m always in for a carnival setting and a revenge story! However, I feel the underlying vibe of the book is to forgive others that have wronged you in order to truly set yourself free! 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! (Note: If abortion is a trigger for you, skip this book)

Books 1 and 2 were 5 Stars! This final book 3 lost some steam as the politics were too long and boring. I also wish there was more provided about the new planet! However, the ending was really great and I’m glad it all came together in the end! 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Just as fast paced and suspenseful as book 1… I’m onto the final book 3! Fingers crossed it is just as exciting! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

What a perfectly thought out thriller that came together beautifully at the end! And there is a dog that likes to watch the television show The Golden Girls… what more could you ask for! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
