This could've been a 10/10 as everything here was amazing, from the beautiful end to conviction the return of Griffith, and the fantastic art, but the Mosgus fight just DRAGS HARD and just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and onnnnnnnn so that's why it lost considerable points
Like I said in my previous review the begining of Berserk is unbelievably weak compared to everything that comes after, volume 2 is the worst volume in the series, the first volume at least was a good introduction especially word building wise, which is the strongest aspect of the begining of the series but this volume was just that edge from the begining but for an entire volume with no stops, this is just mindless edgy action for a volume

NOW THIS IS WHERE THE PEAK STARTS
This is where Berserk truly came into its own not only does it begin the masterpiece that is the Golden Age arc, it also has the absolute peak of the black Swordsman arc, especially after reading the entire series with us meeting Griffith for the first time
There is a leak and the start of a low point of the golden age arc in this volume, everything with finding Griffith is amazing and tragic seeing this once beautiful and gracious leader tortured down to this husk of a man is amazing, but what follows is pretty boring, Wyald and the Bakiraka are just not good, overall the volume is great though
