Solid albeit a bit slower after the craziness of book 3. Enjoyable though, can't wait to get into book 5.

Very enjoyable sci-fi. Fingers crossed that the movie is just as good.

Good book. Entertaining if not very forward moving. An interesting read for sure.

View

Kind of disjointed towards the end, but ultimately a great read for mystery lovers.

View

More great Palahniuk. Different than the movie in many ways, but still excellent.

View

One of my all time top 5's and certainly my favorite King novel.

View

By far my favorite of the series.

View

It has its moments of excellence, but mostly the story is hard to follow and characters are introduced and killed without ever feeling like they're important. Great movie though.

View

My favorite of the series so far. Have yet to finish the 4th book.....years later

View

Really wacky, but definitely worth the read.

View

Don't pretend these books aren't amazing.

View

This book is highly un-good. No more Anne Rice for me.

View

Couldn't put it down.

View

Nothing really happens in this book besides a few very vague references to what is soon to come, but you already know what's coming.

View

Not quite the book The Talisman was, but still quite enthralling.

View

Meh.

View

Loved this book. I implore you to read it if you have seen the movie, just so you can know that the book is 100 times better.

View

A 3 star book but it gets an extra star for it's impact at the time.

View

Super well-written, but don't read this if you're looking for a portrait of a loving, happy family.

View

Very interesting read. Written from the perspective of not only different people, but different species.

View

Great concept but I thought too many of the accounts were not all that interesting. The few really great ones make it worth a read however.

View

The few shorts out of this collection that I have read are insane and brilliant.

View

Not my favorite Palahniuk, but still interesting and original

View

Rating based on having read about half and getting entirely bored with it. I'll reread it eventually.

View

Despite it's sometimes slow pacing, the scares warrant this book a few weeks in the freezer.
