This was a cute read although I do need to go back and read the first two books. I loved the banter, I loved the friend group, I especially loved the conversation the MCs had to have with the FMC’s kids after they left their clothes in the kitchen the night before. I read one book and I’m already invested, I gotta find out what Simon’s deal is.

It takes a lot to keep me attached to a book when it has no smut in it and this book definitely kept my attention and continued to do so until the very last chapter. I’m gonna just say it because if not I will explode, I really hated Celeste 😂 I’ve said “somebody get rid of her” at least 10 times throughout the book. With that being said my favorite was Caelan, he was not having Celeste’s crap and I was here for it. This is my very first read by Tyler Edwards and I can’t wait to read more of his work. Fantasy lovers, you’re not going to regret following Vale, Caelan, Dante, Azalea and Celeste on their journey.

Uff, just when I thought V.B. Emanuele couldn’t get any better; she goes and writes this one. I thought I liked Vincenzo (Tryst MMC) but I was not ready yet, so here for James (Charm). The daddy kink was heavy on this one and that somehow made it so much better. The way the 🌶️ scenes were written, just 🤌🏽 chef's kiss. So good I had to rearrange my top 10. I do have to say the hypocrisy radiating off of Eliza when she found out about her dad and her best friend as if she weren’t dating her father’s best friend was crazy lol. I expected her to be chill about it considering Maddie didn’t exactly hide her feelings for James throughout their friendship. 100% recommend this book to those kinky enough to handle it.

Gotta love a good dad’s best friend read. This was my first read by V B Emanuele but it certainly will not be my last.

This book follows Elizabeth, she’s a college student with a taste for older Italian men and her father’s best friend just happens to be the crush that started it all. After Elizabeth gets caught sleeping with her college professor her dad decides to “punish” her by having her work at his firm 3 days a week and the rest she spends working at her dad’s best friend’s house—a best friend that just recently got released from prison. She takes the opportunity of working in his home to get under his skin and eventually in his bed. The spice in this book is so good, I definitely recommend. I can’t wait to start the second book in this duet, I just know I’m gonna eat it up.

Kathy you did not have to make me cry in this one. All happiness was gone in the blink of an eye. Had me stuck to this book, all day. Both books were so good I hate to run to my partner and tell him EVERYTHING 😂😂 I love it when I read books and I’m trying to guess who the bad guy is just to be so shook when I finally get the truth and it turns out it was the first person I mentioned but for some reason kept changing my mind about them. This book will definitely keep you on your toes.

My favorite characters are Hunter and his brother Grayson. Really looking forward to his book. My least favorite characters were definitely Detective Rinaldi & Sean I kept waiting for Hunter to punch him in the face, he was just that annoying.

What. A. Read! Absolutely loved this one, although I caught on pretty quick. If you love a good plot twist then this is for you.

Luna is a public defense attorney hellbent on cracking her father's case and setting an innocent man free. Hunter is a prosecutor hellbent on protecting her after she witnesses her client's death and is accused of having something against her client's cousin. There's action, murder, betrayals and best of all spice. I 100% recommend this read but this book ends on a cliffhanger so why not get the second book while you're at it?

First book that I read by this author, I liked the read but the fact that he cheated the same day they got married isn’t sitting right with me. And it doesn’t help that the first sign of trouble runs to her 😒 claiming he didn’t sleep with her.

I can’t help but wonder if the rest of the series has the cheating trope.

This was a good read, I’m giving it 4 stars because I was having this issue with how Ashlyn and the entire family reacted. Like everyone could do their fair share of recklessness but she gets drunk one time and marries someone who the family knew, that WASN’T exactly a stranger and they chose to react like that was the worst thing in the world. And then the whole Easton calling Lindy up with another woman in his bed thing was a no for me, it was unnecessary. I liked that she stood her ground and didn’t shy away just because they were in public.

Chelle never misses. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by this author but it is the first of the series, I can honestly say it has me wanting to read the entire series. It was so good and if it weren’t for life I’d have finished it the day I started it. I loved everything about this book, I loved how protective Arrow was, I loved how although he wasn’t part of the MC they still cared enough to help him & Annie. I just loved and enjoyed the entire book. I 💯% recommend this book.

First time reading Eve and WOW! I don’t usually read books told in third person and when I do I find it hard to stick to it. But I could not put this one down. Such a great read, and OMG the 🌶️! I will definitely be picking up the rest of the series!

P. Rayne. You had me hooked from the beginning with this one. I didn’t want it to end, I absolutely loved Dante & Polina’s story from the beginning. They’re enemies forced into an engagement outside of their respective groups. Polina is Russian and Dante is the Italian Polina cannot stand. I must say I absolutely expected Dante to be a little A-Hole the whole time but he wasn’t surprisingly.

If you’re a fan of praise in the bedroom you will not be disappointed with Dante Accardi.

Emma Scott just got herself another reader. This story was written so beautifully it didn’t take long for it to completely grab my attention. It reminded me a bit of ‘Me Before You’ but that’s what I loved about it, I’ve always been a sucker for these stories.

Noah has lost his sight and his adventurous life in one terrible accident.

Charlotte had lost her brother and through him her music. Until she becomes the assistant of Mr. Noah Lake and she begins to play again. Somehow these two broken souls become everything to each other and Noah must learn to accept and live with his new reality in order to be the man Charlotte deserves.

I loved everything about this book except for one character that absolutely made my blood boil the minute he was introduced, if you have read the story then you know who I’m talking about. That man was absolute trash but every other important character I loved. Lucien obviously takes first place though. I strongly recommend this story.

Drake the man that you are! I loved this so much, I read it in one sitting. Drake’s patience and his love for January’s child was everything and I quite enjoyed when he put Lief in his place. Lily was too cute and was a smart kid for her age. January was a little stubborn, but I’m glad she got her person after the loss and difficult times she went through. This book has grief, love, and maybe a stubborn sibling or two, but it was so good. I’m excited and can’t wait to see what’s in store for this series.

Ivy girl, you were so stubborn. She had my head spinning. Scott is so sweet, but I feel like he should’ve told her about his job sooner (like his friend suggested) since he knew she wanted nothing to do with the football world. They were on and off due to Ivy’s fear but when they were together, they were too cute. I loved Ivy’s pops, just for him to be snatched from us, R.I.P. Billy. Their relationship was everything, but I wish she would’ve spent time watching games with him since he loved the game so much. This was a cute sports read. I will say this book has 3 breakups so keep that in mind. I’m not a huge fan of third-act breakups, but the story itself was good, so I stuck to it, and I am so glad that I did.

I thought Yesica was annoying most of the time because of how she treated her mother vs how she treated others but I really enjoyed this book. I loved the Spanish phrases incorporated into the story and I loved Yesica’s growth (it took forever in my opinion). My favorite part was when she confronted that horrid mother-in-law of hers and I was glad when she got to say her goodbyes to her father-in-law, who was nothing like his wife. Such a sad way to say goodbye but it was good for her.

This was a random pick from KU and I definitely picked it because it was centered around the lives of three Latina women living under the same roof once again. My first ever book by Annette and I think I might have just become a fan. This book was well-written and it was easy to read. I recommend it 100%

To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. People on Booktok overhyped this book and I was even scared of reading it because I thought it wouldn’t live up to the expectations I had. I should’ve listened to my gut and kept it as a shelf trophy. I had been trying since June 2024 to finish this book because I am stubborn and really wanted to read AND ENJOY my first Penelope Douglas book… Now I don’t want to pick Birthday Girl up because of the same fear, that it’s overhyped, and it won’t live up to expectations.

Let’s talk about my problem with this book and it certainly wasn’t that she was sleeping with her STEP uncle and STEP cousins. Tiernan being fucking 17 years old when her parents commit suicide and decide that it would be best for her STEP (this is important) uncle to care for her did not sit well with me. She’s shipped off (away from the one person who cared for her when her parents didn’t) to the middle of nowhere with three men she’s never even met before. The smut didn’t happen until she was 18 but I would’ve preferred the FMC a little older from the very beginning. I immediately hated the “you’re the woman you cook for us attitude” and hated Kaleb even more. Kaleb is mute and, in my opinion, has way too many issues that he needs to deal with and heal from. His first encounter with Tiernan was him assaulting her, needing his brother to pull him off of the poor girl. No amount of childhood trauma excuses sexually assaulting someone else or assaulting in general which he did to Tiernan more than once. I will never understand why she chose the psychopath instead of the other brother, EVER.

Do yourselves a favor, read the negative reviews, and listen to them. For once, I agree with them.

How is it possible that I love so many characters in this book? Zeb obviously being number one on my list. I loved how he cared for Benjamin as if he were his own and when Ada came into the picture, I didn’t think I could love him more. Mahina & Zeb’s relationship is everything. Mahina’s brother was such an A-hole, he definitely gave “I’m jealous of my family vibes” and it was NOT cute. I loved Levi and his loyalty to Zeb which extended to Mahina and Benjamin. I am super excited for his book to come out and I’d love to see him around the family more. Caution: This book contains the topic of child trafficking.

After reading The Serpent's Bridge, I was so excited about this book and loved every minute of it. I couldn’t put this book down and I found myself wanting to put off my responsibilities just to finish it. I loved Von’s character and felt so bad about what happened to her to cause her to do what she did. Although Bobby wasn’t mentioned in many scenes I still found myself hating him… he should’ve taken the hint when his fiancee went 8 months without speaking to him but alas, he did not… Sammy… I may have shed a tear for Sammy after what was done to her, it wasn’t at all what I had expected though I should’ve expected it. And just in case anyone was wondering, I’m team Nazario & Huxley. I found the ending to be perfect for Von after her disappearance and if you ask me, she was doing the world a favor, I wouldn’t have bothered the woman in the first place.

This book does contain the topics of sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse so I suggest you all proceed with caution.

I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first one. It had so much going on that it eventually lost me. I considered DNFing a couple of times but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. I thought I’d be brought back to the story, but that just wasn’t the case. I did feel bad for Nyxia and everything she went through. They (the people who hurt her, and there were quite a few) really had no mercy for that girl.

For those who would want to read this book, I do recommend that you read the first book, though it says it's not really necessary to do so. And please for the love of all that is good, please read the content warnings and don’t ignore them.

This was a quick read (91 pages or so), but just like the previous book the spice was so good. I loved what Nico was teaching Roxy almost as much as she did. I love how their bond grew after her incident and the trust she has with him. At this point I want to work at Club Euphoria lol they have all the fun. This entire series can be read as a standalone though I’d recommend reading in order.
