Danette

There is a lot going on in this book. I am not going to spoil things, but the first half of the book I liked. The second half of the book went a little down hill for me. The writing was great, the premise was amazing. I don't read a lot of horror, but this book kept me engaged. When I finished the book I still kept thinking about it .

I listened to the audiobook. I loved it so much, and it was every bit what I thought it would be.

Thought it was ok. I think the pacing for the book was slow in places, which made the story drag for a few pages. The parts where they had to stop and explain what is happening , and what the rules for the peculiars are, and each child's peculiar power and it worked.
