See allI really enjoy Ali Hazelwood's writing style. She does a great job of telling a story and relating the characters to us as readers. I enjoyed the mature content in the book and I enjoyed the development of the relationship between our main FMC vampire and MMC werewolf. I will be picking up the next in the series and while I feel like some of the complaints about the book are valid, not every story is for every person and that is ok.
This was a good listen, quick and easy. I will definitely be looking out for times where I either quiet my inner wild woman or risk being to untethered. I am glad we are recognizing that women have the ability to make the world a better place if we stop hiding ourselves or making ourselves smaller to appease others.
This story was pretty good, the pacing was a little weird, and I honestly really hate when the FMC is so down on herself... it isn't a good look for women and while I get that people struggle with self confidence I don't necessarily want my FMC to act that way when there is a literal dog drooling over her... I may continue the series but this is light and fluffy and overall not super deep.
This story was interesting to see how many layers of plot there can be. There is a lot of gossip and almost a gossip girl feel to this novel. The characters are thrown into upheaval as all their secrets are made public and the people at the school must figure out what they are going to do. I would be interested in reading the next in the series.
