Easily one of the best books I have read. It has a great mix of action, humor, and balanced the emotional load well. Carl and Donuts relationship is very well written. This book definitely set this up as a multi-threaded storyline. I can't wait to see where this takes us next!

One of my all time favorite books! The characters are great, the humor is off the charts, and the beta male vibes are very beta. :)

Didn't love it but didn't hate it. Plot was thin. Most of the characters are completely unlikeable despite their intentions. The first 3/4 of the book really made no sense until the exposition in the last 1/4 of it. The ending was ok.

I will eventually read the rest of the books since I mistakenly bought the whole series as a single book. I have heard it gets better after the first book.

Has been a few years since I have read this trilogy but I really enjoyed them back in the day. The main character is really likeable as is the rest of the cast. It was nice reading some gay supernatural fiction that wasn't trauma based.
