I'm having a hard time deciding how many stars I will give this book.
I think you need to read this book when you're in the mood for it. I read the first half of the book quite some time ago and wasn't a big fan of it. I continued at the end of July, when I felt like reading it and enjoyed it more.
However, I think that this collection consists of a lot of repetition, which I'm not really fond of. Some poems said the same as some others and that bored me after some time. I loved all the other books in this collection, but this was my least favorite one.
I give it 2,75 out of 3 stars.
Let me just tell you in short: I love this book. It made me dream away and forget about real life for a while. Minnie starts off as a shy and insecure girl and grows into a beautiful and confident woman. The character growth in this book is amazing.
However I think that some parts in this book were unbelievable. Minnie and Quinn crossing ways somehow nearly every new year's day seems quite unbelievable. But however, I really did love this book and could dream away with it!
(It also got me out of my reading slump, so thank you Sophie Cousens!)
This book got me all heart eyes. I absolutely loved it.
Boyfriend Material made me laugh out loud, cry, smile, be angry,...
In my opinion all characters were unique in their own way. Alex made me laugh most of the time, Lucien made me smile and cry and also laugh with how witty he is, plus he's super relatable.
Hall's writing style is very quick to read. It's clear that a lot of effort has been put in the emotional aspects of this book, the humour aspects of this book, the love aspects of this book,...
I think this might be one of my favourite books of 2020.
The irony of me reading this book while procrastinating for studying....
Anyhow, this book provided me with a handful of useful tips to try & tackle procrastination!
Josel shows a lot of experiences from students themselves, and i'm sure you will recognize yourself in one of them.
This definitely was a very educational book with lots of great tips!
To be honest, I didn't see where the story line in this book was working up to. I felt like not a lot happened, the writing was very descriptive but it didn't seem to have any purpose in the story to me.
I just felt like the story didn't go anywhere concrete, and that's what I personally need in a story.
I did like the last chapter of the book.
This book is an easy and fun way for kids to get to know Pride and Prejudice. The book is written in easy language and short sentences, which makes it very easy to get through quick. The art in the book is amazing as well!

I loved this book a lot.
As someone who is studying Spanish, it was really interesting to read Spanish poems and having the English ‘translations' next to them.
In the end, all the poems form a full story and that was beautiful to read.

I had a little trouble getting into this book at first, but once I got into it, I just wanted to keep on reading.
This book made me laugh, smile, cry, made my heart break, all at once and at the same time.
This book holds such important messages in it (surely with the BLM movement right now). This book should be read by everyone, because it is so important, yet it still makes you smile at most times.

4,5 stars
As a ‘bad sleeper' myself, this was such an interesting book to read. It provides a lot of good tips to make sleeping your priority, to make it into something you like to do and not something you have to do,... I will definitely try to incorporate some of these tips into my daily night time routine.

Thank you Netgalley for providing me an advanced reader copy.
I absolutely loved this masterpiece.
Let me begin by saying that the art in this book is so so beautiful.
The meaning behind the whole story makes the whole thing so beautiful for me. It is down to earth and shows the difficulties that people of different backgrounds encounter.
