To the people who give this five stars? Y'all are disgusting.

Kate Quinn (and authors) continue to wow me away. Historical fiction + Ancient Rome always a good time but maybe not for the people there. 5 ⭐

This was meant to be a retelling? Really? Seems more like a direct rip off and the only thing different was character names. The writing was flat, the characters were meh. 2.5 ⭐.

The most gay book to ever gay. 5 ⭐!

I tried but I just wasn't feeling it. I may come back when I'm more in the mood for books with fae. 3 ⭐

This was a delightful historical fiction that flowed so beautifully that I was enchanted to read this in one sitting.

Good premise but it's not quite to my taste. 3.5 ⭐ rounded up.

With elections just around the corner, this felt like a powerful read regarding women's rights, but I also liked the romance within. I enjoyed this though beware of some graphic violence towards women mentioned within this book. 5 ⭐

A bit slow in parts, but this surprised me and I got sucked in so that I read this in two days flat. A fantastic start to a trilogy that I hope to physically buy and add to my favorites shelf. 4.5 ⭐

Creepy and fantastical with a strong horror element. 5 ⭐

A cute monster romance! 4.5 ⭐

Liked this a lot! 4.5 ⭐!

Very slow world building and while the writing was good, I just wasn't invested in the story at all. Gave very light vibes of Snowpiercer. 3.5 ⭐

A fun, action packed short alien romance. I actually really liked the mfc for once! The characters all around are good, though I just wanted a bit more story. Thankfully it is a series! 4.5 ⭐

Fun, great characters and overall enjoyed but a few minor confusing elements of world building. 4.5 ⭐

On the one hand, I loved the writing. But my god, the men I want to strangle. 4.5 ⭐

Who doesn't love a badass woman that helps the innocent? 5 ⭐!

The writing was good, and I enjoyed the overall story, I just am exhausted by all the King Arthur stories lately. I may reread this when I'm in more of an Arthurian mood. 3.5 ⭐

A brutal, sad, yet realistic look at mammoths and how they were treated. About poachers and how we should be doing something more to stop them, but also a book about hope that all is not a lost cause. 5 ⭐.

Started off strong but about halfway it was growing wildly inaccurate with history, and the characters read like a poor b rated movie. It wasn't bad it just wasn't to my taste. 3.5 ⭐

Good, not great. Loved the characters but struggled with the writing style. 3.5 ⭐

Starts off strong but halfway through I've lost interest. I may come back eventually though. It's not a permanent dnf, it's just a “put aside for now.” Otherwise, good writing, strong characters, although slow world building. 3.5 ⭐ rounded up.
