The Reformatory

This book was tough for me to get through. At 570 pages, it felt too long. I usually finish a book in a week, but this one took me almost two weeks. It was labeled as horror, but it read more like historical fiction. Once I started thinking of it as historical fiction, I enjoyed it more, especially the ending. However, there were a lot of backstories that I think could have been left out to make the book shorter and the pacing faster. I would still recommend this book but with some warning!

This book took me on an emotional journey that will stay with me for a long time. Claudia’s love for Monday was crazy to me at first, but you really feel her pain as she tries to figure out what happened to her friend.trying not to give anything away but this is absolutely a must read!

Razorblade Tears

Truly amazing! Mr. S.A. Cosby did his thing with this one. The writing was exceptional! The main characters, Buddy Lee and Ike, were absolutely unforgettable. Their dynamic reminded me of watching an action packed old school movie, with all the twist and turns that comes with it. I loved every aspect of this book the tension, the emotion, and the surprises. It’s a fast paced, interesting read that I couldn’t put down. 5 ⭐️, hands down!! This will be a top recommendation for me!!
