I loved this book. It's an interesting storyline and it has some great twists that you won't see coming. The love story is sweet. The sex scenes are smoking hot, but also part of the story. It fit in really well. This book is the first part of a trilogy, and as such, it leaves you wanting more for sure, but it also feels complete. I cannot wait to read the next book.
This book is fantastic, I just adored it. It is not your ‘normal' type romance but perfect, just the same.
Sarina Bowen has an amazing skill of writing incredible characters and making them seem believable and real. Not just as people but their experiences and what they are going through. That rang true with this book even more.

I love Blake Riley so much. He's funny and sweet and cocky lol. Jess is the perfect match for him, I love their interaction. The wedding planned by Jess at the beginning of the book was just perfection, and it was so awesome to be reunited with Wes and Jamie and seeing them loving their HEA.

Wow. Heather Lyn has knocked it out of the park with this book. I absolutely adore Chase and sweet, damaged Landon. Those boys broke my heart so many times. But they also fixed it. This book was the perfect ending to this series. I can't praise Heather enough for the wonderful way she handled several tough subject matters. This woman amazes me with each book she releases and this was no different. I look forward to reading many, many more amazing books in the future.
More to follow but it's almost 3am right now.
This book was recommended to me by a few people and boy were they right. I absolutely loved it, I wasn't even half way through when I downloaded the next book.
It is a wonderful story filled with emotion. You'll fall in love with these characters and once you start reading it'll be hard to stop.

This book completely destroyed me....and then put me back together again. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. Isabella Starling is a fantastic storyteller, she immerses you on her world. I'm not ashamed to say I cried while reading this book....I also cried afterwards when thinking about certain scenes. Very powerfully written book.

I absolutely adored this book. It has everything a good read should have; heart, humour, fun characters and sexy time. Ok, so I might have made that last part up, but when it comes to Officer Chase Kelly I'm afraid I can't help myself. You'll feel the same when you meet him, I'm sure. He's very addictive. A gentleman with a filthy mind, what's not to love? He is all about having a good time and boy does he know how to have a good time. Liv is one lucky girl.
Livia is sweet and scared, she hides behind her walls to protect herself, haven't we all done that at one point? I found myself cheering her on through a lot of the book, but at times I was also cursing her, telling her that I know what's best for her and that she needed to listen to me. (Why don't characters listen to us? lol) I read this book over a few days to draw it out as I didn't want it to end. It is wonderfully written and I laughed, swooned and even shed a couple of tears.
I love Brenna Aubrey's words. Her writing is fun and captivating, once you start reading her words you will want all of them...and now! She writes some of the most swoony characters ever. The Gaming the System series is one of my favourites. Who doesn't like some geeky goodness in their life? When I heard we were getting a prequel to At Any Price I was excited, getting the opportunity to read more about Mia and how the auction came to be. I originally read the installments through Brenna's newsletter, but hearing that it had been reworked, edited, and released with additions, well, I was all ready for it. Let me tell you, this is such a cute novella, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It gave us insight as to why FallenOne was such an important person to Mia...and why those revelations in AAP were so tough for her. We get to see more of her friendship with Heath, and how she became friends with Alex and Jenna. I just adored it. If you've never read the GtS series it's a wonderful introduction to Brenna's writing and the series, and it leads straight in to At Any Price. If you have read the series, it's such a nice little reminder as to why we love the series as much as we do. And once you've finished GG, I can guarantee you're going to want to binge read the other books.
I read the first book in this series about a year ago and loved it, but as is typical I got side-tracked before diving into the next book. When the collection was released containing books 1-5 I jumped at the chance to purchase it but hadn't found the time to read it yet again. Lucky for me they released the collection on audio and I was finally able to enjoy all the goodness that it is.
Shannon Jacoby is a mystery shopper...an incredibly clumsy mystery shopper, she must keep her cover at all costs, even when meeting a handsome man aka ‘hot guy', in the men's room....with her hand down a toilet. (I'm not kidding) And she does it. Until a meeting with executives from a new potential client and in walks Declan McCormack ‘hot guy' and that's when things really start to get interesting and fall into place. Their relationship is a mash-up of sexy dates, clumsy events, and rumours. Is there love strong enough to weather the potential storm heading their way? You'll have to read or listen to find out.
I love Shannon, she is funny and charming and I think a lot of readers/ listeners will be able to identify with her. She's an everyday girl with crazy family and friends. Her mother is hilarious; I adored her.
Declan is a great character, I'll be honest at a couple of points during the book I wanted to slap the guy...hard. But, during the course of the story you find out more about him and it starts to make sense, you might not agree with how he handled it, I didn't, but you understand him.
The supporting characters in this series really enhance the story and made for many, many laugh out loud moments.
Julia Kent's writing is funny and sweet and she'll make you fall in love with her characters. It's a light-hearted romantic comedy that will touch your heart. It'll make you swoon, it'll make your sides hurt from laughing and it might even make you cry.
Tanya Eby is fantastic, so much so, that I forgave her pronunciation of ‘dalek' (I'm British and a Whovian – these things just jump out at me). All joking aside, she really did an amazing performance. The book has a lot of humour, which was performed amazingly, some people can tend to over perform but that wasn't the case with Tanya, she made it believable. There were also some emotional moments in the books and these were performed beautifully. I'm extremely choosy when it comes to female narrators but I can hands down say I would most definitely pick up another audiobook which Tanya was narrating. Each character was unique, the subtle changes Tanya made to her voice changed the whole characterisation.
Sweet Torment is a quick, fun and sweet read. It can be read in under two hours but they are a wonderful couple of hours. Bram has been friends with Owen his entire life, he never wanted to fall in love with his little sister but it happened anyway; no matter how hard he tried to stop it. Staying away was near impossible and seeing as the feeling was very much mutual, he struggled to find a reason. Claudia has loved Bram her entire life, she doesn't have a memory that he isn't part of, he is like a brother to her, only she doesn't feel very sisterly towards him and makes it her mission to wear down his defences. They want to be together, but will their family approve?
When this book landed on my kindle I dived right in, I'd been waiting for it, after seeing the teasers I knew I had to read it. The teasers held such promise and the book delivered. It was so good. I love Georgia's style of writing and she never fails to immerse the reader into the world of her characters.
I am often wary of novellas because they can leave so much out, but Sweet Torment doesn't feel like that at all. It is a complete story that I absolutely adored. The story progressed at a suitable pace and it never felt rushed. Bram is such a sweetheart that you can't help but love and respect. His ‘little dove' pet name for Claudia was perfection. I loved Claudia, she had such a cheeky attitude and she knew what she wanted and worked to make it happen – gotta love that. For the romance lovers, you'll love how this story plays out...not everything is how you imagine from the blurb, which is classic Georgia. For those looking for a bit of sexy time, trust me, you get plenty of that and it is scorching. I thought the epilogue was fantastic but that's all I'm going to say on that because I don't want to ruin anything. I actually cannot wait to read this book again, I enjoyed it that much.
The Hearts on Fire series by Heather Lyn is one of those series' that when a new book is released you cannot wait to read it and see what she does next. Heart's Desire does not disappoint. Heather puts her heart and soul into these books and it shows.
I went through so many emotions reading this book. I laughed, I cried, I put the book down and quickly picked it back up again.
The emotion conveyed in this book is astounding. I devoured the book in a day, I just couldn't put it down. Heather Lyn's writing just grabs the reader and inserts them into her world of sexy firefighters, and emotionally driven subjects and characters.
Carmen melted my hard heart, I felt so much for this character; what she experienced, how she felt. Her journey was heart-wrenching but so beautiful, seeing her learn how to open up and love again. The relationship between her and Noah is just so sweet. I loved how Heather conveyed the sibling love and conflict which so many people experience. Then, of course, there is Hunter; sheesh that man...is it getting hot in here? He is funny and charming, so cocky but in an endearing way. At one point during the book, my heart was breaking for him - that's all I'll say about that, don't want to ruin it, but just know that he'll make you feel for him, you might even feel the need to send the author a message and ask WHY?!?!?!
I must start by saying that it isn't imperative, however, if you like continuity I'd recommend reading Live Wire first, it is the introduction to Bishop and he is swoon-worthy so why wouldn't you want to read it?
I loved this book, I think it is my favourite Cristin Harber book to date! Bishop is a great addition to Titan. He's your typical hot, alpha titan guy but he feels very different, more sensitive maybe. He reminds me a little of Roman. I really liked Ella, she was a different type of heroine, she didn't have training in badassery, she was a ‘normal' woman and one I think most people can relate to.
If you like second chance romances this is definitely the book for you. It grabbed me from the very first chapter, I liked seeing Ella and Bishop in the early days and although I had guessed what was going to happen, it was still heart-breaking and I was simultaneously cursing and praising Cristin for having me in tears from the get go. It was cute being able to experience them getting to know each other again, and the different courses their lives took because of one night. They had a great connection and chemistry, even if they did try to fight it at every available opportunity.
I love Cristin's writing, she has a wonderful talent for blending action and romance, this book is no different, although not as action-packed as some of the other Titan books. It still has enough for all you adrenaline junkies and a sweet romance for all you romantics. I felt this book was very much character driven and I love stories like that, where you get invested in the characters and the plot is secondary. I had several moments of literally laughing out loud, moments of shouting at the characters and lots of swooning moments. I loved the #TitanStrong message that is throughout the book.
From the shocking opening chapter onwards, this book just keeps getting better, I had great difficulty putting it down. Each chapter leads seamlessly into the next and leaves you wanting more. A definite case of ‘Just one more chapter' leading to reading a good half of the book in one sitting and then only stopping because families need attention. (I'm not saying I threatened my husband for interrupting my reading at a very pivotal moment, however......)
We are introduced to two more new Titan recruits - Locke and Jax. I adored Locke and look forward to reading more about him in future books. Jax, I didn't have a good feeling about but maybe that was the plan, we're not supposed to like him so that when we find out more about him it makes sense? Only time will tell.
I want to thank Cristin for such a great series and an incredible addition to the Titan Group. I am definitely on #TeamBishop.
This book is one of my favourites this year, yes yes, I know I've said that a lot but it truly is. I think it might actually be my favourite book by CD Reiss and that is saying something. I really connected with this book, as a former nanny I could relate to Cara and her experiences with the children and trying not to get too attached and failing, the effects when it's over. Brad Sinclair is dreamy. What I loved about this book is that it isn't a straight forward romance, it is not just about two people meeting and falling in love. It has that, don't get me wrong, but it has the added element of two people falling in love with a special little girl and it was heart melting. I devoured this book in a day, it was so good, I just couldn't put it down. Christine has a way with words and creating a story that just envelopes the reader in a cocoon where they forget they have commitments and to eat because they are so engrossed.
Did you enjoy Six? If so, you're going to love Six Toy. It is ridiculously filthy and will keep you entertained from the first to the last page. It is not for the faint of heart, if you are looking for a sweet romance with a bit of sex...this is not the book for you. However, if you like hot, filthy sex and a good storyline..read on.
Although some aspects of this book drove me crazy, I'm talking about shouting at characters, threatening harm sort of crazy. I was also extremely impressed by James Crow, you can see the progression in his writing and tell a lot of thought and research went into each scene.
I loved that we found out more about Suki and her past with the Golds. The budding relationship between her and Emma Jane was wonderful to witness. The ending was sweet.
I'm curious to see what James Crow does next, I predict a long and successful writing career.
I didn't know what to expect from this book but I was not expecting to love it quite as much as I did. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. Sloane Howell is fantastic at blending humor and emotion. Ethan Mason is a dreamy, cocky bastard and I loved him. I also wanted to slap him and shout at him and then hug him. Literally a full range of emotions. Jenny Jackson is my kind of girl, she's smart and witty and gives as good as she gets. I loved the banter between the two of them and their interactions with Matt, Kelsey and Jenny's dad; pure honesty and it felt very real. I cannot wait for Scored.
