Picked up this audio book at the library because the title reminded me of the brave soldier boy comes marching home song that Ihro sang in avatar. Little did i know i was in for a heartfelt tale about a real man and his impact on a country I knew almost nothing about before the book. Fantastic read so glad I picked this book up on a whim.
I found this book very hard to read, it's cynical nature always put me in a depressing mood after finishing a couple chapters. That being said it's fantastically written very interesting concepts that are fairly well explored.
Fantastic book, it shoes quite well how overpowered a super genius would be in a world with powers and magic that they can figure out
This is a good series that I really enjoyed but I am going to focus the negative.
Relationships(friendships and the like) don't just happen theres work to put in there getting to know the person and building trust nd they especially don't just just happen in the time frame the book said. They go from strangers to die for eachother way to fast for my liking
