Kurzweiliger Reisebericht

Die phantastische Abenteuerreise des Konstantin O. Boldt wird in Form eines Reiseberichtes erzählt. Durch die "Abbildung" von Dokumente wie Briefe und Zeitungsartikel in unterschiedlichen Formaten und Schriftarten wirkt das Ganze sehr authentisch, auch wenn es dadurch stellenweise nicht ganz leicht zu lesen ist. Passend zum Format variieren die Details der Einträge zu den verschiedenen Reiseereignissen, wegen der gelungenen Mischung aus Fantasy und wissenschaftlichem (Be)schreiben hätte ich an der ein oder anderen Stelle gerne noch ausführlichere Beschreibungen gelesen. Ich liebe die wunderschönen, vielfältigen und detailreichen Abbildungen, die ich mir am liebsten als großformatige Prints an die Wand hängen würde! Alles in allem ein wunderschön gestaltetes und manchmal nachdenklich stimmendes Buch.
